31. #12; Nour, interesting
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (08.25.10)
So we are are to believe this "isolated event", was a personal vendetta. Is that what your saying Nour? With RPG's? I can understand automatic weapons, I'm sure everyone has one there, but RPG's? Basically the government stepped in from a PR standpoint, because they know it makes the Muslim world look to the Western press. It's called spin control. Personal you kill the guy, maybe some people around him, you don't start burning down Mosque's!! Why you Nour are also attempting to put your spin on it is interesting. I'm glad your friend is "having a drink" down the street...is it Vodka or Whiskey?...but please don't try to pull the wool over everyone's eyes. As I said, you don't burn down Mosque's just for personal vendettas. Why is the Lebanese government trying to cover it up? That's the real question. Considering they lied and try to shift the blame on Israel for the recent border skirmish, I really don't trust the source of information.
32. #12 Nour
Habib Seliman ,   New York, USA   (08.25.10)
Yachabibi, do you remember Bashir Al Jemayel? It was also a personal vendetta. So don't take it personally, l'chaim!
33. Must be "kill your neighbor week" in Lebanon, again

34. #12
(08.25.10)
yes nour.... it was such a simple non event, a vendetta that EVEN NABIL BEHRI AND SULEIMAN AND THE TOP LEBANESE GOVERNMENT ECHELON LEADERS GOT INVOLVED!!!!! yes, indeed. accoerding to you it was not significant. so, if it was not significant, do you think that the lebanese governments and all its leaders needed to get involved??? your friend got out for a drink and doesn't cxare precicely because such eventsa are the norm, not the exception in your violent arab society. i would not call the killing of 4 people and more a non event. yes, indeed. when you live with shit all the time, you eventually start smelling like shit and no one really can tell if ytou are shit or if you are different smelling. lebanon sits on a civic tinder box where arab terrorists and thugs roam the street. the lebanese army is a joke of the world and for that maytter so is lebanese society which has gotten rid of their christians and filled that once beautiful maronite country with islamic thugs bent on dar al harb, mayhem, terrorism, thugery and violence...not much different than any palestinian society or for that matter any arab society in each muslim country. this is why dictators arew good for the arab masses. they all need to be controlled because obviously, they can't control themselves. israel and the west laughs at you and at your violent culture. the world laughs and shakes its head in amazement and wonders when are you all going to start working, producing, evolving. no wonder the umma is in such a sorry state. and about the mosque, nour.....since when do arabs burn mosques. i thought they all blamed the israelis for doing so, again with a lie, of course. hamas said mosques were never used to be descerated. voila! here is one of many examples. isolated incidence, indeed. in your imagoination only. hameed aboughaze, iranian
35. #20 Bat Zion: I LIKE YOUR MESSAGE
Israeli 2   (08.25.10)
TRUE Jews throughout the world want nothing less than TRUE peace. Now convince the Lebanese and the rest of the anti semites to have a good heart like you do. Include me in your message. If that doesn't work...no fret. We will always have Messiah.

Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (08.25.10)
40. The tactics of Hizbullah
kobi   (08.25.10)
Like Hamas, Hizbullah entered Lebanese politics with the intention of taking over the country. It wishes to control Lebanon both to protect its military forces, and to advance its jihadist aim of spreading the Iranian revolution and destroying Israel. Like Hamas, Hizbullah's political empowerment has not moderated it. It has strengthened its military arm and made it politically impossible for its domestic rivals to oppose its war against Israel, its ties to Iran and Syria and its independent military force. 41. The Arab "fatal flaw" on display
Cameron ,   USA   (08.25.10)
Internal squabbling and intrigue have always led to the downfall & collapse of Arab power, as history consistently shows. Forever a constant.
42. We Israelis should not be smug as we,
Robert Haymond ,   Israel/Canada   (08.25.10)
ourselves, have outbreaks of serious violence between rival criminal gangs.
43. Sorry Atilla #15. You know we cannot help ourselves
Tayfun_Turkey ,   Istanbul   (08.25.10)
We cannot live peacefully unless we kill someone, Infidel or Muslim, they all satisfy our animal instincts. Do you want to be my boyfriend, please? I'll meet you in the Bazaar tomorrow and we'll take it from there, OK?
44. Lebanese shooting it out over a parking slot - What's new???
Anonymous ,   TX, USA   (08.25.10)
Apparently this type of Incident sort of happens everyday in that country... I heard that every Lebanese has an arsenal of weapons in his home - ranging from small guns to RPGs.... Lots of them carry them around in the trunck of their cars... And when they get into a car accident, or in a broil over a parking slot....bullets start flying. So folks don't start screaming "Doomsday is coming" and "Hour of redemption is approaching" yet OK.....LOL
45. not accidental, look at the fine print you will see
ghostq   (08.25.10)
that Asad and co, pulled some strings in lebanon in order to restrain the Golem he created, the tentionn started a month ago, and now it small clashes, and as I seen it none tells tyrant like asad to take a hike without paying, here is another head butting, but it will get worse, both like the power the sword and the fist, oh yeah.
46. Are the 3 hrs up yet? Are the bodies handed over?
Topsy Turvy ,   US   (08.25.10)
Let's see some more action. "The Lebanese military was deployed to the neighborhood" - for a photo op because really, Hizbullah is in control. Ah well, just a friendly skirmish amongst common the thugs.
47. there will be no Sunni-Shiite sedition in Lebanon
Salma ,   Palestine   (08.25.10)
it is true that something has broken between the Shiite and Sunni, But I don't think that any party is ready for such a risk, it is true that Hezbollah will prevail over any party in Lebanon, but it'll be the taste of defeat, Hezbollah leaders are very conscious and aware of these facts, so they know how to control themselves .
48. Lebanon or how to kill brotherly love - a daily affair
john US   (08.25.10)
Once a day, this type of isolated event would brake the monotony of the fat hizbollah rat; reduced in passing his last days in the hole.
49. @34 i was surprised as well by Nour (@12)
Suzanne   (08.25.10)
How can a quarrel between people end up in a shooting in which machine guns and RPGs and burning a mosque were involved? That's no incident. That's sectarian violence. Much more serious than Nour wants us to believe. With pain in my heart I look at Lebanon and hope they will overcome hatred and violence.
50. to Salma #47--"Hezbollah leaders know to control themselves"
u mean "IRANIAN ,   Remote Control"???..   (08.25.10)
51. excuse me my friend!!
SM ,   UK   (08.25.10)
Hesbollah just needs something to distract attention from this incident which exposes the underlying hatred among lebanese factions. Surely there must be at least a further 1000 spies lurking in lebanon's telecom organisation? That means 1000 'voluntary confessions' !! And a 'good news story, !!
52. # 38 Peace
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (08.25.10)
And when the Jews are gone it would be the Dutch because of their cartoon, then everybody that isn't Muslim, and then you Muslim's could kill each other in peace.
53. #12 - didn't Leb civil war start from "personal vendetta"?
William ,   Israel   (08.26.10)
That is how they describe the Shia-Sunni rift that has brought more violence and death to the world than WWI, WWII, and the Mongol invasion combined, right? Just a little "family" dispute.
54. #15 - Atilla - modern Israel born in 1948
William ,   Israel   (08.26.10)
killing between Muslims began when Islam reared its ugly head in the 7th century. Again proving, your own worst enemy is yourselves.
55. #47 - was Hizbullah in control when they turned weapons on
William ,   Israel   (08.26.10)
Was HIzbullah "in control" when they turned their weapons on the Lebanese people, after promising not to? Only two types of people do that - those that worship death and find redemption in killing as many as possible, or those who fear losing power and are willing to take everyone with them if dislodged. I believe Nasrallah is a bit of both.
