As a gay person we are still denied some basic human rights, including inheretence rights, death taxes, even hospital visitation rights as i am not officially recognised as my partners spouse ( 10 years & 2 kids) . We regually face discrimination on a daily basis ,which hetrosexual people take for granted, Regarding the issue of praying, sorry i am not a religious person and do not share your religious belifes, which after all is a persons basic right to belive or not to belive. That is a shocking story. There is a church in the US which preaches that God sends earthquakes to punish sinners. I am a 56 year old New Zealander and until I noticed the church ( Westboro Babtist ) on YouTube this year I had no idea that anyone anywhere still preached such garbage in the name of religion.
