4. westerners love dog more than wife
Larry ,   Los Angeles   (08.27.10)
I can understand that, since the Western culture embraces extra-marital sex, sex between two men, sex between two women, the only thing that is faithful to man is his dog, certainly not his wife!! Of course, perhaps Westerners are into bestiality?

How pathologically paranoid these people must be! To be so threatened, by a doggy. Man's best friend, one of God's creations, an affectionate and loving companion. Israel and Israeli's are judged so harshly for defending ourselves. But, surrounded by ill-minded, megalomaniacs, who define their insanity by acts just like this, needs to serve as a wake-up call to our detractors. These people subscribe to the lowest level of human existence and behavior. Inventing a new horizons of cruelty (threatening aid workers in Pakistan), paranoia (keeping pets leads to evil) and misogyny (stoning woman to death). How would any other country cope with the same neighbors? Extremism is a social disease. Such actions, promulgated by a government, screams irresponsibility. Is it reasonable to allow the same deranged minds to possess nuclear weapons? Or for that matter, even a toy gun? It is far beyond time, that the court of public opinion recognizes the threat of these barbarians.

You're overlooking one very important difference. No rabbi in Israel has the power to ban the ownership of pets. If people choose not to own pets because they're such emotional cripples that they feel compelled to listen to these rabbis...that's their problem. However, now that the ayatollahs have issued a fatwa against them, people can be forced to give up their pets or suffer the consequences of non-compliance. Not quite the same thing, is it?

Dogs have been present in the ME dating back 12,000 to 13,000 years. Archeologists have discovered dog remains in burial sites next to humans. The fatwa against dogs is mainly to punish the people and prevent them from the joy of pet ownership. The lights are going out in Iran. No music, no dance, no fashion, only Islamic art. The more out of control they feel, the more control they need.

13. #4 - are you speaking from experience?
William ,   Israel   (08.27.10)
Because I've been all over the Western world, and haven't really seen this happening in the streets, dark corners, or schools. You make it sound like the entire West is sexually depraved and violent...just the same accusation Arabs make, before raping and killing prisoners.
