Isreal cannot do any thing any more other than destroy buidings and structures and kill civilians, which the other side can do as well. other than that, when it comes to real fight on the ground, then you are in for a some surprises, different surprises than what you have seen in 2006. It is better for Isreal not to pick a fight and avoid humilation, it is better to keep the picture of the IDF as it was, because with a new fight there will be a new picture for the IDF.

remember what happened in the real fight in 2006, Isreal couldnt even occupy Maroon el Ras a small village only few meters from the border fence. So yes you can destroy Lebanese Army bases and structures, but the real fight is not in those structures, it is in on the ground. Lebanon can destroy structures and can inflict stinging pain inside Isreal. And most important, remember the Merkava Derby...those big metal coffins.

Next time, maybe we will take a page from NATO's book and won't be so careful. In that case -- two hours, not four. Don't delude yourself that it cannot -- or will not -- be done.
