For it must be the content and not the language as such or otherwise it would have been wrong to wish a plague on Hitler and the Nazis. Now if you think that the good rabbi has completely misjudged Abbas and the political situation in the ME, the rabbi should obviously be criticized. And if Abbas and his cohort are nothing but decent, honorable and peaceful men who have done nothing but good to Israel and the Jewish people the rabbi has done them very wrong and deserves to be condemned for that. But the State Department and other US government offices have no business with what a rabbi says in his sermon as long as there is no criminal incitement to violence.
