1. Mazel Tov
Z ,   Israel   (09.13.10)
From one new immigrant to another, Mazel Tov Daniel! Your video has inspired plenty of young people to stand like you have for what they know in their hearts is right. We're proud of your decision to return home and applaud your actions thus far. We expect to hear much more from you down the line. B'hatzlcha in your aliyah and moreover in your Tzahol service.
2. Baruch Habah! A remarkable young man.
Bartley Kulp ,   Haifa, Israel   (09.13.10)
3. Some happy news
Judah ,   Golan Heights,ISRAEL   (09.13.10)
After spending the last half of an hour reading only negative news on the web its nice to read a refreshingly uplifting story!
4. Hey POOR Daniel,
Salma ,   Palestine   (09.13.10)
form a new party in "Israel" to compete with all the parties... you can call it "I'm OK by myself," party :)
5. Dual loyalty
graczek ,   Maryland, USA   (09.13.10)
Daniel Pereg's recent behavior and statements essentially prove that a large portion of American Jews have dual loyalty--to the Zionist state and America; thus, they are not exclusively loyal to America. This problem will be exacerbated as American and Zionists interests continue to diverge. If Daniel Pereg does indeed defect to Israel, he should be denied readmission to the United States.
6. That takes guts!
R ,   Israel   (09.13.10)
Glad to have you here!!!
7. Where to live?
Salma   (09.13.10)

8. A Real Mensch
Emanon ,   USA   (09.13.10)
9. NOW He Should Live on an ILLEGAL settlement
DAVID ,   USA   (09.13.10)
....built on Stolen Palestinian land. ALL Settlements are illegal, including those in E.Jerusalem (e.g., Ma'alet Adonim, Har Homa, etc.). I don't feel sorry that this guy's feelings were hurt because he could no loger listen to those wise voices against the Zionist apartheid, occupation, stealing other people's land, etc.
10. Poor Salma
Yallah Yallah ,   Eurabia   (09.13.10)
Too bad, unlike the Israeli boy, you can only dream about forming a political party. Oh well, you can always vote for Hamas or the P.L.O. gangsters. :)
11. If only Israeli leaders had this young man's courage
Zev ,   USA   (09.13.10)
enough said.

14. David USA, Salma in Judea; Arabs occupied N. Africa, Israel,
YaaqoveBaneYitzhaq ,   Jewdea, Israel   (09.13.10)
Levant. Ever wonder how black africans took on the culture religiona nd language of arabia? Its called Arab occupation. The largest and most longstanding forced occupation of any in the world. Take a look at history and you will see a people native to the land of Israel rpeceding arabs. Those people? The children of Israel, the Jews. Get some knowledge David and stop hating your half Jewish self. We were here 2000 years before Mohammed was even a zygote on a petri dish.
15. He is such a contrast to the typical self hating coward.
JMK ,   NYC   (09.13.10)
16. Baruch HaBah
Daniel ,   TA   (09.13.10)
Welcome. May you find all that you seek in your new home and enjoy it in good health and happiness.
17. Salma, David and their ilk
Daniel ,   TA   (09.13.10)
!. learn law: International law actually favours Israel regarding settlements. The UN is the body that undermines the law with it's biased resolutions 2. Learn history: The Palestine Mandate included Jordan. Jordan was created to form a Palestinian (Arab) state. Yet not one person here ever mentions Jordan giving up land to help form Palestine only Israel which conquered land from neighbors in a defensive war. That by the way makes it COMPLETELY LEGAL for Israel to annex the land. 3. Learn compassion: This forum is about a boy making a great change in his life. Whether you support him or not this is not the place to bring him down.
18. Amazing 'mover and shaker'
Beth ,   Israel   (09.13.10)

Yashar Koach Daniel! I can only imagine the pride your family feels...you are a very special young man, and we hope that you will be an inspiration to other Jewish youth to follow their dreams to immigrate to Israel, our homeland forever. May your life there fulfill everything you have wished for, G-d Bless You.
21. Another one with dual loyalty syndrom ,...
split ,   USA   (09.13.10)
There's no such a thing like dual loyalty, either you pregnent or you not - I bet US Armed Forces aren't good enough for you. Los Angeles, Alta California - November 14, 2003 - (ACN) The Jewish Journal of Greater Los Angeles made a startling revelation today when writer Phil Shuman wrote, "Only some 3,000 out of 1.4 million active duty servicemen and women are Jewish, about two-tenths of one percent. When it comes to Marines, the numbers are even more startling. It’s one out of 1,000. One-tenth of one percent." Those (tax deductible" donations that you got on fundraisers for Israel must be replaced by additional taxes
22. he only proved that pro-Arab protestors are civilized
observer   (09.13.10)
what counts is the courage of curbing outrage, not the one of anticipating great danger.

ivan ,   haifa   (09.13.10)
27. #5 Dual loyalty or double standards?
Avraham ,   Columbus, Ohio USA   (09.13.10)
What you write speaks volumes about your double standard towards Jewish Americans. Have you ever been driving and passed an Irish American Club? An Italian American club? Most people have dual loyalties. You know that in the U.S. military (In which I served for 8 years) there is a belief that Roman Catholics are more faithful to the Pope and would choose Catholic over American interests. This is rediculous. What About Muslim Americans? Nidal Malik Hassan or Hassan Akbar? There haven't been Jewish acts of violence against fellow soldiers. Dual citizenship is legal and I proudly served in both the IDF and the U.S. Marine Corps and was wounded. Don't ever question my loyalty!
