I think this is suppost to be a settler hare (catarpillar for building) on the caricature. But can anyone explain to me the 3 questions on Obama's sentence? I somehow don't get the Palestinian stance here.

Abbas is weak At his peak after Arafats death all of Fatah were behind him now he has just but since the Gaza take over by Hamas he has been a lame duck. The presidential elections were supposed to have been held nearly 2 years ago but Abbas has passed legislation allowing him to stay on for another year but that was nearly 2 years ago now and if Obama gets his way Abbas will stay on for at least another year so he can keep talking and complete the Obama legacy of a piece of paper peace rather than real peace. These talks are a farce and they are not going to work

the stance is that all the failures over the years are due to 'plots' and 'conspiracies' against the palestinians (ie instead of the fact that israel is not going to roll over and die and that the palestinians can either learn to live with israel or continue to fight and lose more opportunities). this idea of 'conspiracies' and 'lies' is a way of blaming failures on outside influences instead of taking on the responsibility and is a part of arab and middle eastern culture.

That the existence of Israel is not accepted in the Arab world....that the existence of a Jewish State of Israel is so unacceptable that it wouldn't matter to kill every "Palestinian" if just to stop it from existing. THIS is why no peace will come. Not because of "Palestinians" but because of those outside.

THERE IS NOTHING TO TALK ABOUT. ISLAM WILL NEVER GET A SMALL PART OF IT. JERUSALEM DOESN'T BELONG TO ISLAM

Well, he already settled the Israeli conditions of recognizing Israel as Jewish states. no mention of any characteristics of the Palestinian states: sovereign, Jerusalem as capital.. of course, when he mentioned "Jewish" Israel, he dropped the refugee right from the beginning... These are possible plots
