8 Talkbacks for this article
1. Rockets and murder
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (09.07.10)
The typical Palestinian response to peace talks murder inniocent civilians and target civilian towns with rockets. While the Jewish right is threatening to build houses. Abbas wants walk out if building resumes, but says nothing about the murders and rockets, except that it might hurt his negotiating position. Then artists want to boycott performing at an arts center. While Israel is trying to talk peace. Peace with a guy who may only represent 50% of the Pals. Talk about screwed up priorities. You couldn't write a movie this silly, and have anybody believe it's real. Israel sits down to talk peace and immediately the people their speaking with, start killing civilians, and firing rockets at civilian targets, and they boycott Israel?
2. More Palestinian war crimes from the opponents of peace
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (09.07.10)
Remember, YNET readers, that Hamas official policy is to "never" make peace with Israel. The roadblock in front of peace? Hamas and its Iranian money machine. The peace talks between Israel and Fatah will not lead to a peace treaty, since Fatah is too weak to sign a separate peace treaty for the west bank only. My prediction is that if the Palestinians can't do it themselves, then looked for a future war of Fatah+Egypt+Jordan against the Islamic Army of Hamas. Israel will allow the transit of troops acrosss its territory. The combined Fatah/Jordan/Egyptian force will keep the peace in Gaza, the jails will be full for decades with Hamas political prisoners, but peace will prevail.
3. Bibi, you ought to thank G-d that there were no injuries
Shalom   (09.07.10)
or damage. The rockets fired are because of your foolish discussion with the head of a terrorist group. How did Livni (believe it or not) say it? "We live in a neighborhood in which sometimes dialogue – in a situation where you have brought sanctions, and you then shift to dialogue – is liable to be interpreted as weakness," she explained.
4. Goldstone please accuse us..
Mark ,   TA, ISrael   (09.07.10)
I am sure that the wonderful and unbiased (In)justice Richard Goldstone could prove beyond a doubt that by allowing a rocket fired from Gaza to land near Sderot that Israel has committed a war crime.. His silence during this stage of murders of innocent Israeli's is deafening. But then, what else can we expect from such a self-serving, two faced and immoral character!
5. #1. Right on, as always!
JB from SoCal, ,   USA   (09.07.10)
6. #2. to Brian, JPF ~
JB from SoCal, ,   USA   (09.07.10)
My friend, your prediction is just too good to be true . . . but please, Pal Liars, Inc., please surprise us and do the Right Thing. Imagine getting out the popcorn to watch such a beautiful live TV show: Fatah + Egypt + Jordan using secret Mossad + IAF intelligence support to wipe out &/or jail the disgusting hamas weasels! Plus, I have a feeling that the population of Gaza would very much welcome the invasion. Hope IL Intel folks are reading this. Should only take a little arm-twisting to do the trick. Then as you suggest . . . "peace will prevail." Works for me!
7. this is a call out for all of the world!!!!
an innocent citizent   (09.07.10)
lookkkkkkkkk with who we have to deal with! just look, just read, just listen.... we have to deal with terrorist, with unhuman things (these are not people) who want to destroy the jewish people. this is a proof to all of the blind people that palastinians are not human being, but terrorists who look for killing all day long.
8. Rockets land on Sderoth
Ezra ,   Florida   (09.07.10)
How about "landing" the Israeli Air Force on the largest-parking-place-to-be, a.k.a. Gaza previously. in the very near future, like later today. It is time to reshape the entire "landscape" there. Maybe then trhere will be no more Red color alert to Sderoth.
