31. Nice to hear from a Cowboy from Calgary #22:
Robert Haymond ,   Israel/Canada   (09.07.10)
I reside in Edmonton. There is, in my estimation, a certain truth in what you say regarding the Tel Aviv population, at least their elite. As Yoel Meltzer has already indicated in replying to a poster in a Talkback under his recent article referring to riddles and concerns, they will probably be the first to leave should a new war break out. Is there any room for them in Alberta's most cosmopolitan city, Cowboy?
32. DEAR MR .GILLERMAN
LAWRENCE RAP ARTISTE ,   SAFED ISRAEL   (09.08.10)
Be honest with yourself please .Would it bother you if 400 jewish kids were being deported ? ? And why such a fuss ?? Let them have the choice of staying in Israel and converting to judaism or returning to their home countries. And the nations (Goyim ) despise Israel because you do not behave in a normal rational manner. Goyim despise illegal immigrants with a passion.
33. #25 GILLERMAN COULD CARE LESS
LAWRENCE RAP ARTISTE ,   SAFED ISRAEL   (09.08.10)
He could care less about Shali nor Pollard nor anything else .He jus t " WANTS TO BE LOVED."
34. This is the real question !
Judd Rusnak ,   Sydney   (09.08.10)
Let me be a bit cynical, and draw the following scenario. Let Israel become a 3rd world county, let those tens of thousands of Sudanese (Muslims) stay in the Israel, let’s have those hundreds of thousands foreign workers stay in Israel and become Israeli citizens. Let’s have the entire Palestinians population squatter any where they want, let anyone build any dwelling where he decides to build. Let’s have any illegal decides when he pay taxes and when he just forgets to pay them. Let the UN feel sorry for Israel and let the Arab nations surrounding Israel take control of the mess the “rightist left” have brought us and to what we have become. Let the Arab countries in the region decide the faith of the Jewish people. So, do you still want illegal’s to stay?
35. CRUEL ??
LAWRENCE RAP ARTISTE ,   SAFED ISRAEL   (09.08.10)
What does Gillerman know about cruel ? Cruel means other people having to support these children ,cruel means poor people having to subsidize them .Cruel means bringing them up in a strange environment where they can not fit in .Cruel means diluting the jewish nature of the state .Cruel means putting the needs of strangers before the needs of your own poor and needy .You Israelis sure are screwed up ...but then we already knew that.
36. "YEARS OF GOOD WORK DOWN THE
LAWRENCE RAP ARTISTE ,   SAFED ISRAEL   (09.08.10)
DRAIN ". No mention of sympathy nor pity . .He only seems to care about his 'YEARS OF GOOD WORK ." Hey buddy ,your years of good work really paid off because Israel is so well loved ...ha ha ha ha ha ha .
37. #21 YOU CAN PAY FOR THEM
LAWRENCE RAP ARTISTE ,   SAFED ISRAEL   (09.08.10)
38. Love
Yehudi ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (09.08.10)
The Torah says "Thou shall love the stranger who lives amongst you." I believe that it is immoral to deport these children. May G-d forgive us.
39. One cannot run a country based on outside opinions
William ,   Israel   (09.08.10)
Quite frankly, I do not care what our "enemies" think of Israel or how they will depict us. Remember the earthquake in Haiti? Though Israelis were saving lives from the first day, the haters threw out a libel that Israelis were stealing organs. In other words, our enemies will always paint us in a bad light, whether we deport some illegal immigrants or find the cure for cancer. You cannot, and should not, run a country based on the opinions of already loathsome people. Screw them and do what's best for Israelis.
40. #12 - you mean they follow the narcissistic seculars in TA
William ,   Israel   (09.08.10)
Isn't that what you mean by "they are more Israeli than children of haradim"?
41. #20 - Foreign workers in Arab lands...how do they faire?
William ,   Israel   (09.08.10)
Foreign workers are not assimilated into society nor is it accepted to socialize with them. Foreign workers in Arab lands are given no guarantees of work and can be deported with less than 1 hour notice. Foreign workers in Arabs lands have no real rights and there are plenty of incidents where a worker complaining ended with expulsion. They are accepted because Arabs have money and choose to hire workers for menial tasks, yet many, especially from Southern India and among Black Africans, cite torture, unpaid wages, long hours of hard work, and poor living conditions. Hell, even some "Palestinians" have cited these facts of working in Arab countries. You are so right, observer - "facts speak"
42. #21- "how many nations...none that I know of " - the USA!
William ,   Israel   (09.08.10)
The US ICE unit has deported entire families from the US. In Boston, they raided factories and broke apart families between those who were legal and those who weren't. Why did they do this and why do they have a right to do this tomorrow?? Because the law is very specific and breaking it - whether you're alone or with a family of 12 - doesn't negate the consequences. This isn't about religion, it's about laws of the State, which being from Billings (MN?) I assume you disagree with and so does your militia.
43. the politically correctness will DESTROY Israel ! So shut up
(09.08.10)
44. GILLERMAN WANTS HIS COMEBACK IN THE NEWS. pathetic
David   (09.08.10)
45. #40
Dorothy Friend ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (09.08.10)
They speak Sephardic Hebrew as is generally accepted in Israel, which granted some Hardim do, but many don't, sticking to Askenazic Hebrew in protest to Zionism. They have parents that work, and they themselves will probably work, too. Not to mention serve in the army when called upon. They are fully a part of the State. Just look at them in school yards, etc. And what's so bad about secularism? It keeps the country going in many ways.
46. deporting children prevents their future killing
observer   (09.08.10)
Rabbis Shapira and Elitzur determine that children may also be harmed because they are “hindrances.” The rabbis write as follows: “Hindrances—babies are found many times in this situation. They block the way to rescue by their presence and do so completely by force. Nevertheless, they may be killed because their presence aids murder. There is justification for killing babies if it is clear that they will grow up to harm us, and in such a situation they may be harmed deliberately.
47. DROP THE SUBJECT ALREADY
zionist forevr   (09.08.10)
This nonsense has already been dragged out over a year because a bunch of people who can't bear to see a little child crying. This is not even an issue about children although its been turned into one. Its about deporting illegal immigrants. These people are not refugees who will be persecuted if they return. They came illegally because they wanted the good life which Israel provided them. The children are not being sent home alone they are with their illegal parents. The child will adapt to their new home as children always do. The parents hide behind the child as an excuse to stay and making the thing a big issue is only going to encourage more people who want to stay to just have themselves a child to hide behind so they can stay for good The sooner there people are gone the better I am really sick about hearing about this batch of kids.
48. not so gillerman!
OZ   (09.08.10)
we are either a state of law or a ragtag of nothings. as sad as it may be, if these kids are here illegally ,they must be deported to thier original countries, period. all attempts to ""humanise" this is futile
49. we need every non-arab person living in israel and more of
