Israel wants Abbas to accept Israel as Jewsish state. You will find only 2 Palestinian leaders who would agree to that, one that who died already, the other has never been born yet, another word, stop dreaming. If Palestinians agree to that condition, that means abandening the right for return which is impossible. no Palestinian leader have the right to do that, it is not his decsion alone, it is my decsion too and lots of people who lost there house and property like my parents did.

As long as the arabs hate us more than they love their children, there will never be peace. It is in their nature to hate. They can't even get along with each other.

Instead of forcing concessions upon Israel, why not see how far you get urging Abbas to renounce the Fatah charter (which calls for the destruction of the State of Israel and the extermination and/or expulsion of the Jews)? Why not pressure him to make a public statement acknowledging the absolute right of the Jewish people to have a national homeland in their ancient home? And why would anyone think it is a particularly good idea to treat terrorist rabble as if they actually constitute a valid negotiating partner or an honest broker? Oh, and did I forget to mention the little matter of three rejected opportunities to have a two-state solution? The Palestinians do not want to have their own state -- they couldn't govern themselves out of a brown paper bag -- they want Israel. As if that would ever happen. If Hussein Obama wishes to make his mark upon history, he'd better find another vehicle. You cannot make peace with people who actively seek your destruction.

If there has to be a Palestinian State, they the Palestinians, and all Muslim countries have to agree that Israel, as the Jewish State has to have securie boundaries and must be recognized for what it is, the Jewish Homeland.
