Those who think because the rockets miss their targets, that any response from the IDF is a disproportional use of force. These are the anti-Israel writers who believe Israel needs to trade a life for a life, or it's unfair. Can you think of anything sillier than that logic. Israel should apologize for having a stronger army? In any conflict the idea is to inflict more damage to your enemy, than your enemy can inflict upon you. Except when it comes to Israel, then the rules are changed. Israel is expected NOT to use its more powerful army, why, you ask? Because Israel's enemies want to neutralize its superior force, so they misuse the term "disproportional force", in effect criminalizing the IDF's use of their superior army. The next step will be to apply that same tactic to all the Western armed forces i.e. U.S., U.K., Canada, Germany etc., basically all the superior armed forces around the world. The terrorist can conduct low level warfare, killing small numbers, and the superior armies cannot respond, because it's not fair. Sweet deal, for the terrorists, that is!
2. Why kill Gunmen? Unless you mean Terrorists.

I forgot that in Ynet lexicon only Jews may be termed 'Terrorists'. Are there any Arab Terrorists according to Ynet, Betzelem, PiecesNow, Animal Rights, Arab Rights and other nutty organizations?

He was a terrorist. I sure hope they went into Gaza and retrieved his RPG so the morons can't use that one again.

COMMIT SUICIDE...
9. "Terrorist"?
Doug ,   Rochester, USA   (09.14.10)
Why would a responsible Newspaper label someone firing at enemy soldiers as a terrorist? Does that not also make the IDF soldiers that fired at him a terrorist?
10. #9; Doug, and a Terrorist
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (09.15.10)
Because newspapers, typically, use words in their proper context...although not always true. You see Doug, you have an agenda, which is to vilify Israel. Terrorist: "a radical who employs terror as a political weapon; usually organizes with other terrorists in small cells; often uses religion as a cover for terrorist activities" The IDF soldier is defending himself from unprovoked attacks. The guy he shot (the terrorist) is making a political statement that Israel does not have a right to exist. The terrorist uses acts of violence to make that political statement. Using intimidation as a tactic. Just like you asking that sarcastic question, the purpose is to falsely vilify Israel. I guess, thinking your remark is clever or insightful. When it is only revealing of your mindset, and profound ignorance.
