Notice that the "peace talks" started and Palestinian aggression, violence and war crimes increased. In return for sitting down to talk peace, the Palestinians shot and killed 4 Israeli civilians, tried to shoot and kill two more (but thankfully the gun jammed) and have fired dozens of rockets at mortars at Israeli civilians bordering Gaza. It is very clear that the Palestinians are both incapable of signing a peace treaty, and unwilling to do so.
