This visit is about threatening Assad to tow his line

However as Ahmadinejad is clearly not fully in charge back home, this visit is probably more about domestic politics and boosting his image in Tehran than anything else.

As a Christian, I love Israel. God says in the Bible that those who bless Israel will be blessed and those that curse Israel will be cursed. Isreal is the apple of God's eye. I know they are looking for their Messiah, which I know is my Jesus. One of these days they will know the truth but I do love them and their country. As a little girl in the fifties in Detroit, Mi, I lived in a Jewish neighborhood. Nex door to me was a Rabbi and I played with his daughters. Across the street was my best friend a Jewish girl by the nam of Linda Kent. They taught me Jewish songs and holidays. My hope and prayer is that the Jewish people of Israel and everywhere know how much the true Christians love them and pray for them and always will until the day that I die or my Lord come back.
