31. Why isn't blood splattered on the mattress or the walls?
The Dude   (09.17.10)
If he was shot with a 5.56 round of an M-4/M-16/Tavor, their should be blood on the mattress if he was sleeping there? Why are they only showing a single sheet with blood on the ground? And if he was shot in the neck while lying down, they most likely hit a jugular vein, and that thing gushes blood. Or did they conveniently 'clean' everything?
32. To #28 :-)

Are you implying that people of a certain religious persuasion are not very bright and can be sold on the idea that those virgins caught the clap sharing toilet seats and bath water?
33. #31 reconsideration of the minutes
observer   (09.18.10)
Shelbaya’s brother Mohammed was abducted by soldiers earlier in the morning, and forced to show officers the way to Iyad’s home. About 30 Israeli soldiers first came to his house in the camp at 2:30 in the morning local time. After questioning him for about 30 minutes, the soldiers ordered Muhammad to take them to Iyad’s house some 150 feet away. “When we got to Iyad’s house, the soldiers ordered me to face the wall and keep quiet,” Muhammad said. The soldiers used a sledge hammer to knock down the front door to Iyad’s house. Several soldiers were then described entering the home, at which point three gunshots were heard. Medics confirmed three shots killed the man, one in the neck and two in the chest … Mohammed told Ma’an that he heard his brother Iyad calling his bedroom when the soldiers entered the home, asking ‘Who is it? Who is it? Who is it’?” The empty shells near the bed show also that Iyad was shot at close range. An hour after the incident, the soldiers turned over Shilbayeh’s body to the humanitarian group Red Crescent, which in turn took it to Tulkarm hospital. The body was later buried in the refugee camp. Whether it was in his bed, in his bedroom or in his house, it was highly likely not non-assassination,
34. observer Twist
Fred1 ,   Canada   (09.18.10)
Bla bla bla Observer, same ole retoric in how the hamas terrorists are really law abiding citizens. So tired of the muslim script writers in the blogs as they gobble up any and every headline in every news site known on the web just to fill the minds of the week of their cult of barbarism in the mass murders of the innocense. No Observer, your repettitive nariation of the holy hamass regime is OLD NEWS bud the World sees in a different light now thanks to you and many like you of your rants and raves. You Loose

37. :: Sarah BS - #8 - Oh, the rhetoric?
Matty Groves ,   Fairport   (09.18.10)
Tell me Sarah BS just when will this happen? For all your rhetoric, ie: carpet bomb Gaza, turn Iran into a parking lot, kick Turkey out of NATO, etc, etc, ad nauseam - just *when* will this all happen and why don’t you back up these silly comments with any substance? Oh right its all just “rhetoric” isn’t it? In case you haven’t noticed Hamas/Iran/Turkey/the Palestinians are *all* in a far more stronger position than they were 5 years ago and guess what - Israel hasn’t done a positive thing to actually hinder this development. Face it Sarah BS you are all “rhetoric” and no substance.
38. Ernest: who cares?

One more dead terrorist is good news. You should be praising the brave boys of the IDF
39. Why the detailed analysis??
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (09.18.10)
Hamas has already admitted this guy was a leader in their terrorist group. They have vowed vengeance for killing one of their leaders. So what does it matter? So if they were going to arrest him or kill him, who cares? He was no innocent, Hamas has been planning cowardly drive-by shootings of civilians. Firing rockets and mortars shell at civilians. So in my book Israel has some payback to do, why debate the details of this terrorists death. He died as he lived, violently. So what?
40. To Observer, now you look like an even bigger liar!
The Dude   (09.18.10)
Lets look at the original story and your story: Link for posterity http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3955563,00.html You said: "Shelbaya’s brother Mohammed was abducted by soldiers earlier in the morning, and forced to show officers the way to Iyad’s home." Originally said: "arrived at Shilbayeh's house and grabbed his brother, Muhammad, to use as a human shield. " So which is it? Did they first go to Shilbayehs house and then use him as a 'human shield'? Or did they abduct Mohammed from elsewhere and then carry him to Shilbayeh's place? You said: " About 30 Israeli soldiers first came to his house in the camp at 2:30 in the morning local time. After questioning him for about 30 minutes, the soldiers ordered Muhammad to take them to Iyad’s house some 150 feet away." Originally said: "According to Palestinian sources, however, dozens of military vehicles entered the village at 2 am. " This is a ONE hour time difference, please explain? You said " “When we got to Iyad’s house, the soldiers ordered me to face the wall and keep quiet,” Muhammad said. " I though he was already at Shilbayeh's home already when they took in the original transcript? You said: "The soldiers used a sledge hammer to knock down the front door to Iyad’s house. " I have to ask, if they told him to be quiet, why would they then use a really loud sledgehammer to open the front door? You said: "Several soldiers were then described entering the home, at which point three gunshots were heard. Medics confirmed three shots killed the man, one in the neck and two in the chest … " Originally said: "The force, said the brother, blew up the bedroom door and proceeded to shoot Shilbayeh three times – once in the neck and twice in the chest, while he was in bed." Okay, so where was the explosion to blow up the door? Was this the sledgehammering originally? Because blowing up a door is not the same as hammering it down. I thought his door was locked? You said: "Mohammed told Ma’an that he heard his brother Iyad calling his bedroom when the soldiers entered the home, asking ‘Who is it? Who is it? Who is it’?” The empty shells near the bed show also that Iyad was shot at close range." Originally said: NO MENTION OF ANYONE ELSE SHOT Why is this suddenly being state, obviously he was 'shot' at the same time. And now it's mentioned? You said "An hour after the incident, the soldiers turned over Shilbayeh’s body to the humanitarian group Red Crescent, which in turn took it to Tulkarm hospital. The body was later buried in the refugee camp. " Originally said: "His body was transferred to the Palestinian District Coordination Office several hours later. " This is different as well. "Whether it was in his bed, in his bedroom or in his house, it was highly likely not non-assassination, " Except the initial story and the one you tell me now are so vastly different, it's obvious that you and matty are lying. The only thing consistent was that he was shot once in the neck and twice in the chest. And this easily fits into the IDF story. Also the blanket pictures could have been the one initially used to cover him and then they just brought it up to the bedroom. Facts are not on your side.
41. Israel - end the protection of the PA ...
Lee ,   Manchester UK   (09.18.10)
Let hamas slaughter the lot of them and as for hamas you must destroy the entire Gaza strip and give them nowhere to hide. It's time the world saw Israel's full wrath on these vermin once and for all. Truth is with you.
42.  to 21. liars as expected
A ,   Belgium   (09.18.10)
a Hamas political activist There are no Hamas political activists. An activist uses dialogue to defend his and his peoples rights, like Gandhi or Dr. King. Hamas takes the rights of the arabs in Gaza away (especially women), while threatening to destroy Israel...which of course will never happen. Besides, as #30 said, it doesnt matter if he was sitting on the pot taking a dump, the terorist isDEAD DEAD DEAD! Next in line, please...
43. Israel needs to hang out candy for killing this Terrorist

45. The Dude #40 the IDF yet to investigate itself
observer   (09.18.10)
so, you aren't with investigating a case of extra-judicial killing of a guy on basis that it took the soldiers half an hour to find his brother's house and because he and his brother have the same family name and the soldiers used explosives in place of sledgehammer to blow up the door as warning to the guy while threatening his brother not to interfere. Good case dude! go on. stick to your story that all wanted and non-wanted Palestinians are suicide bombers, or at least potential ones. that serves them most.
46. #40: The Dude, The Point Is
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (09.18.10)
As you correctly pointed out by quoting the original article, here you quoted: "According to Palestinian sources, however, dozens of military vehicles entered the village at 2 am" Well that is a problem for me, whenever I see "According to Palestinian sources", and here is why: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_B1H-1opys This now famous video really says it all, nothing has changed since this came out. Except there are many more provable, documented cases of this continuing media blitz of falsehoods.
47. Observer and his ilk
US_Exceptionalist ,   Boston, MA   (09.18.10)
One significant outcome of the Mavi Marmara attack on Israel was that the video tape of what really happened exposed the far-left, anti-Israel, pro-terrorist crowd like Observer and his ilk, as the rank, pathological, Jew-hating liars they are. These cretins no longer have any credibility.
48. To 45, I don't see why you are so angry?
The Dude   (09.18.10)
You gave another set of palestinian first person testimony from the Ma'an news agency and then I compared to the first person testimony given to Ynet. You, matty, and many other Pnuts, immediately took the palestinian testimony from the first story as fact. Then you, and YOU ALONE, posted another set of testimony that RADICALLY CONFLICTS with the original one you took at fact. This puts into severe question, the honesty of either of these testimonies. The fact is that BOTH come from palestinian sources and both quote the same family member saying different things. You are wrong and have literally been caught in the act! Had you not posted comment #33 then it would have been IDF vs. palestinian view points. But in your zealous you added another conflicting view point from the palestinians. So I don't see the reason why you are angry at me for point out the contradiction? "you aren't with investigating a case of extra-judicial killing of a guy " No I'm not investigating, what I did was take YOUR testimony that YOU posted and compared it with another testimony you take as FACT because both of these are first person testimonies that completely contradict one another. "on basis that it took the soldiers half an hour to find his brother's house and because he and his brother have the same family name" Yes, but the initial testimony stated very clearly that IDF troops went immediately to first house, not his brother, and that his brother was there. Then YOU posted the conflicting testimony. "and the soldiers used explosives in place of sledgehammer to blow up the door" First of all the initial story was the IDF blew up the bedroom door. Your version contradicts this all, saying the IDF entered the house with a sledgehammer and then went up to his room without any explosives then killed him. This is what you wrote. "as warning to the guy while threatening his brother not to interfere." Again you have contradicted the initial story. If they took the brother as a human shield then they don't need to threaten him to interfere!?? Then they are actively using his interference for protective purposes. You once again conflicted even your previous stories. Please if you're going to lie keep it consistent! "Good case dude! go on. stick to your story that all wanted and non-wanted Palestinians are suicide bombers, or at least potential ones. that serves them most. " I didn't even need to make a case, you did all the hard work for me, by completely contradicting yourself just now and then original story. Man up, admit that these guys are lying and that the IDFs story is the only one that has been consistent and logical.
49. Israel detained Shelbaya 7 times in the past two years
observer   (09.18.10)
was those 7 times for peace talk or as trials to recruit him.
50. Who the hell cares?
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (09.18.10)
Shelbaya was a terrorist. According to the UN and the Geneva Convention that makes him a war-criminal. The IDF is a military unit not a police force. Their job is stop anybody from attacking Israel and/or their people. They did - end of story. Anybody that doesn't like the above - kiss my ass.

Is it really PA, and Israel that has laid this man to death? Could it had been the settlers in the West Bank that could had done this thing? I feel that all must look to the sky in thanks for the giving of this man that has killed so many others.
