1. Next German generation will be Turks
Nora Tel Aviv   (09.18.10)
(End)
2. I ge the feeling that the jews are not worried for Europe
Alex ,   Stockholm-Sweden   (09.18.10)
Rather, they are kinda upset that they were not accepted in European society a long time ago. I completely defend Mrs Merkels point of view. This should be a lesson to all those who oppose any religion any form.
3. Germany capitulates to Islam......
Adina Kutnicki ,   Israel   (09.18.10)
the same Germany which exterminated half of world Jewry. The lesson to be learned is clear - those who threaten their host nation with terror, IF their demands are not met, are the ones who triumph. Those who integrate and contribute in EVERY sphere of German life(substitute any western nation here)are the ones who get persecuted. Being a good citizen ain't all it is cracked up to be......
4. Islam & the west
Misha   (09.18.10)
Eventually there'll be a war between these two groups. It's even written in the Talmud somewhere, I think in the Sota Tractate.
5. Might is right
Sagi   (09.18.10)
You cannot argue with numbers. Islam is on a path of insidious dominance, whether this is intentional or unwitting is debatable, but it is happening and there is little we can do about it.
6. #5 Sagi, I'm just curious
Jake ,   Florida, USA   (09.18.10)
whether you would express the same resignation were Israel to have an Orthodox majority in your lifetime. Think about it. If you give up the West Bank, the religious will stay in Israel, certainly, but many seculars will flee at the rise in terror and general insecurity that is sure to follow. I can almost see already your talkbacks against the dictatorship of the majority. It's quite sad to observe the high level of tolerance by seculars regarding Arab customs but not so when it comes to Jewish values, be they ancient or more recent.
7. And all this is...
Juan ,   Spain   (09.18.10)
...in the name of the Euro socialist politically correct machine that does not know why boundaries were invented.
8. To: Alex, Stockholm-Sweden
Nahum Korda ,   Ein Ziwan, Israel   (09.18.10)
It seems to me rather that the Europeans are becoming nostalgic about the past. They disliked the Jews so vehemently. But now they got what they deserve! I wonder how long will it take until Swedes become a minority in Sweden.
9. Muslims in Germany
B. Adania   (09.18.10)
And thous "Dumkopfen" thought us Jews to be a problem back then! Ha, they get what they deserve.
10. "mMore mosques in their cities" - how about the real truth?
michael redbourn ,   Arad - Israel   (09.18.10)
Much as I don't like to say it, any country that has allowed Muslims to immigrate on masse, has only two choices right now. Make them leave or be Islamicised. I wish it weren't true but it is. Islam is quite honest about wanting a world-wide caliphate and Sharia but the West isn't listening. Michael
11. I just ***LOVE*** your photo of Merkel...
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (09.18.10)
12. #9, B. Adania, ...Germany gets what it
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (09.18.10)
deserves...I must agree with you... Germany has done so much bad in its recent history and is still unwilling to change from within. Men like Sarrazin are against the Muslim immigration and also want to put the Shoa aside into some form of historical perspective...like the thirty years war...(Sarrazin) The Muslims are bad AND the Germans are bad...

Sagi   (09.18.10)
First of all it won't happen in my lifetime unless fate decides to turn me into another Methusallah. Yes, I would make the exact same pronouncement and prediction regarding the situation in Israel vis a vis the orthodox and the normal run of the mill citizen. In fact I have said it many times before, it is happening and it shall ruin this country, society and the entire project called Zionism. This has nothing to do with hatred as some talkbackers contend, it has nothing to do with values as you say. I can assure you that my values are not in question, neither morally nor in regard to the law. I can also assure you that my values are somewhat higher than those of most of the orthodox and this without sporting a beard and sidelocks etc. My contention regarding the Islamization of the world is based on simple logic as is my contention that Israel will become a decadent theocracy following a period of anarchy which we have already entered. I doubt if even a civil war would be able to prevent this. I hate no one, I am an obsessive pragmatist and logician.
14. Europe wants us to commit suicide like they are.
Paul ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (09.18.10)
Israelis can tell Europe how their life as they know it will never be the same. But, all the Enlightened Europeans will say is that we Jews have a chip on our shoulder. The world was never clever enough to listen to Jews before and they won't now. Life will become hell for them and they will explain it away as challenges to be more tolerant and open-minded.
15. # 13
(09.18.10)
Sagi, no matter what, you are my hero.
16. #13 Sagi: you fail to see that the decadence
Jake ,   Florida, USA   (09.19.10)
of Israeli society has been precipitated by secularism, with its erosion of Jewish values and its promotion of a multicultural (in this case an Arab majority) society. I'm a secular too but not to the point of putting Arab customs and interests over Jewish ones, which is what the left has been promoting to the extend it can get away with. The settlers present an option which is neither Haredi and not secular. They are patriotic and involved in all kinds of professions, and yet the left hates them. I'm not saying that you particularly hate anyone, but the left for the most part does. The present talks aimed at severing the heartland from Israel are one case. The secular left goes against all logic and self interest by pushing for its surrender. Studies have shown that it will lead to the demise of the country. Between the religious settlers and the left, anyone who is objective enough can see that it's the left that is doing harm to Israel. Whatever happens after the shrinking of Israel will involve so much struggle to survive that the issue of whether Israel becomes decadent or not is moot because living there will be unbearably dangerous. The IDF is pretty much defenceless against terrror.
17. #2 so your talking about muslims who don't accept anyone
rachel ,   usa   (09.19.10)
else's religion but islam ...right?
18. Europe NOT Pro-Muslim
Rube Vogel ,   Jerusalem   (09.19.10)
All these years I thought Europe was just pro-Muslim. How silly of me. They aren't pro-Muslim. They ARE Muslim. When will the world learn that as long as they are giving things away for free, the Muslims will be the first in line to take. And when they finish giving things away, then the real trouble will begin.
19. # 13
Sagi   (09.19.10)
Heros usually attain this title after a violent death or after having caused a violent death or perhaps both. Thanks, but i'll pass on that one, won't even take a rain check.
20. Europe
roxie ,   Israel   (09.19.10)
A bunch of nations already conquered by Islam, yet they are unaware of it yet!
21. sight of mosques
raDi ,   weird germany   (09.19.10)
Depending on where you live in Germany, it just might be no unusual sight already today. Rural areas tend to be less mosqued, some states embraced Islam more than others. Couldn't go to work in the state capital, ride of 45min, without having seen three mosques, quite new building complexes with travelling agencies, car repair, green grocers and other important services one needs to sustain a life running parallel to society and never get in touch with kuffar. Just hope, no annoying muezzin is going to tell me with his loudspeaker, that this allah is greater.
22. 2 words: Manhigut Yehudit (dot org) get connected!
Jae ,   Lynn US   (09.19.10)
The answers that our common sesne seeks is on that platform.
23. TO SAGI
archie ,   Alabama,USA   (09.19.10)
You are dead wrong! there are many ways to stop this INSIDIOUS CANCER ! You got to do your part by educating anyone around you about what Islam is all about. It seems that you forgot that after 1000 years of subjucation, the Spaniards kicked the mother f$%#@kers out ! right now they comprise small percentage of Indigenous European population,so dont let the POLITICALLY CORRECT governance keep going on its merry way. DO SOMETHING NOW!
24. Muslims in Germany?
Glenn ,   Sellersburg, USA   (09.19.10)
This will not last long. First the Gypsies, then the Muslims. Things are changing fast in the EU. Nationalism is on the rise. Catholicism will win out. Islam will be defeated. The Germans will not back down like the US, Britain, or Israel (Judah). They will fight! You Jews better watch out too.
25. # 16 Jake
Sagi   (09.19.10)
Believe me I do not fail to see anything. I understand fully what the left are doing to Israel just as I understand what the orthodox are doing, and if you add to this the Middle Eastern culture which is permeating our society, we then have a concoction for disaster. I agree with you entirely. I have no doubt whatsoever that many, many people will leave Israel, simply because it has turned out to be someting other than expected, and this a a situation that will continue and get worse.
26. Israel 20% Arab
Ron ,   OC, USA   (09.19.10)
Germany is only about 5% Moslem, Israel is about 20 or so % Moslem and is at far greater risk of being swamped by Arabs than is Europe or the US. Perhaps Israel should build housing on the WB for Israeli Arabs rather than Jews.
27. Ron # 26
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (09.19.10)
Israel is about 20 % Arabs , not all of them Muslim .
28. Alex , # 2 . Wait , and you will see where
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (09.19.10)
this "non opposition" will lead . Jews never wanted special rights , but they contributed MUCH to Europe and the world . What do muslims contribute in Europe , exept some football players ? As i lived for most of my life in Western Europe , i know how the locals feel , and i resume it in one sentence i heard from a elderly woman : We had'nt to fear anything from the Jews .
29. What did Sarrazin write that others didn't earlier?
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (09.19.10)
Sarrazin claimed Turkish and Arab immigrants are failing to integrate. Well, duh! Conservatives Mark Steyn and Melanie Phillips, liberal Bruce Bawer and others did so earlier, but were ignored. Most recently, mainstream writer Christopher Caldwell ("Reflections on the Revolution in Europe") deals extensively with the failures wrought by Europe's immigration policy, the failure of Europe's Muslims to integrate, and especially what is happening when an assertive, confident culture (Muslim) confronts a local culture that doubts itself. And, lest we forget, it was Turkey's Erdogan on a trip to Germany over a year ago, that advised local Turks *not* to integrate! Merkel's comments are nothing less than capitulation to Germany's future fate.
30. We are empowering muslims - they already know they have Euro
Lee ,   Manchester UK   (09.19.10)
pe in the bag ... i'm sure of it. Western leaders are BETRAYING EUROPEANS by lying to themselves. Theres gonna be a helluva lot of clashes in European cities the next half century ... while this lot that have lead us here can escape. I hope the Israelis by then will finally have the hardness of heart and leave us to it by looking the other way - like all the European states have done so when Israel is in trouble. As long as theirs an Israel - humanity has hope.
