1. WHAT A RIDICULOUS LIST!!
Matt ,   Los Angeles USA   (10.08.10)
Seriously who the hell made such stupid list ! if any JERUSALEM with such history behind it should always be #1 in any educated and realistic mind. Something else I found absurt is Washington DC being ranked above the city of JERUSALEM!!! could any one tell me what is so special with DC ? the house of bunch of Ludicrous & Hypocrite Leaders who slaved the humanity for decades and set the region on Fire for Oil and thier Satanic intentions.... get a life for heavens sake whoever made this list is out of thier freakin mind!! regardless of political tension between israelis and arabs JERUSALEM should be Praised on top of each list forever ...
2. They just love the Humous and Felafel

The most authentic Palestinian dish.

worthlessness of the USA (Washington, DC), you remain there in LA in rockhard security. Sounds like sour southern California grapes to me.
4. Astounding !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sagi   (10.09.10)
Jerusalem has historic and religious importance, end of story. Other than that it is a filthy dirty city, unattractive in any and all respects. Public transport is a disgrace. Traffic flow is disgusting at any time but at rush hours the cacophony of horns is just not commensurate with a civilized society. Dilapidated buildings from the Ottoman era abondoned and full of garbage and refuse and human waste. Altogether a very unattractive city both for residents and tourists.
5. Third world
Ocker ,   Israel   (10.09.10)
I agree with you 4# Jerusalem is a dirty, drab, dreary, depressing, gridlocked city containing numerous derelict, deserted. unkempt and un renovated apartments buildings with architectural monstrosities such as the Holy land development. Get out of your tour bus and put on your walking shoes and see the reality.
6. # 5 Ocker
Sagi   (10.09.10)
Yes, depressing is the word. The only thing that this city has going for it is the lure of the biblical and historical connotations, apart from this, nothing at all.
7. I agree! Jerusalem is beautiful!
Dave ,   New-York   (10.10.10)
8. More lies from YNET news!
Rich ,   Toronto, Canada   (10.10.10)
I lived in Jerusalem and I was shocked at the dirt and filth of that city. I moved out.
9. beautiful ? not sure, but its very special...

I have just return from my visit in this beautiful city and let me tell you, Jerusalem should be on everybody's # 1 list. Where else will you see an IDF music band chanting and dancing on Ben Yehuda Street (perpendicular to Yaffo St.), inviting the public to join them? I had a tiring but WONDERFUL two weeks there! I even experienced all at the same time three religions in prayers in the Old City...what a cacophony it was (of course I only paid attention to the Jewish prayers!) Only in Jerusalem you say...
