Nothing like freedom and private property rights is there? BTW, if there is a peace treaty do the Jewish people get their money back? So in the in the New state of Palestine we can assume private property owners really will not have property rights, will they? Since they don't even have that now in the PA controlled areas. With the PA allowing vigilante killings, to people they consider to be collaborators or traitors, just for selling their land to who they want? I just did a very quick check - It appears that it is illegal, under Palestinian law, for a Palestinian to sell land to *any* foreigner. The penalty is life imprisonment. However, if a Palestinian sells land to someone from an "occupation" entity (meaning *any* Israeli), the penalty is death. (Both penalties are beyond the pale.) In Israel, it is legal to sell private land to a foreigner. This amounts to about 7% of Israel. It is illegal to sell land in the rest Israel to a foreigner (with some minor exceptions). I will guess that the penalties are very light. Again, that was just a quick check. I welcome any corrections.

Any land sale that could conceivable prompt an Israeli claim of sovereignty is what is banned. Negotiate a deal where no sale of land will change any sovereignty and that recognizes that Palestine's sovereignty is absolute within the borders of Palestine and the law goes away.If Israelis tried to extend Israeli sovereignty to properties owned by Israelis in Florida or New York, the US would have similar ban. Can Saudis or Jordanians buy land in Galilee and claim it as Saudi or Jordanian Territory?
