Anybody can call themselves a historian it doesn't actually mean you know the first thing about history. David Irving is a neo Nazi who calls himself historian to try and make himself and his pro Nazi views look respectable and serious. He has said that Hitler was the best friend that the jews had in the Third Reich and he had no knowledge of the Holocaust. He says that many the people who claim to be Auchwitz survivors were never actually there and they had they intentionally had their tatoos put on after the war. He condemns Churchill for going to war and claimed he betrayed the empire because Germany was England natural ally & the British should have joined Germany not gone to war. It would be nice if Mossad discreatly helped him have a little accident so he wouldn't be able to go around making trouble anymore.

The world is filled with pseudo-historians pushing nonsense theories just as absurd and hateful as David Irving's. Most of them are widely ignored. By publicly condemning and even jailing the holocaust deniers, we simply give them credibility they don't deserve. People like David Irving should be left alone to stew in their own sewer of bigotry.

My Anti-Zionist credentials are well established here by now. That being said, I will say flatly that David Irving spouts total nonsense. The Holocaust did truly take place, and if anything, the number of deaths that occurred in the camps may even have been underestimated. The historical and photographic record cannot be denied. My thesis is that the Holocaust, as egregious as it wa s, does not constitute a validation of an illegitimate Zionist state in the Holy Land.

In the last paragraph of the article called "Jews Upset by Shoah Denier's Polish Trip," the entire meaning of the article has been changed by the use of the word 'persecution' instead of 'prosecution'. (See quote below.) Or am I wrong and they really did mean 'persecution'? "Unfortunately, as long as he just travels around the sites of the Shoah and does not publicly say anything that could be persecuted by law, he is safe."

He's demending that Holocaust should be open for reserch and study just like any other historical event - Raul Hilberg or Rudolf Vrba (Jews) demanded as much as he did if not more and didn'd end up behind the bars.
