You give your enemies weapons, territory and international legitimacy while attacking your own citizens and the realize that the next round will be painful? The people who perpetrated the retreat from Lebanon, the ethnic cleansing of Gush Katif and the establishment of the Fatah army in Judea and Samaria should be tried for the deaths their actions will bring.

The IDF is also deployed from a defensive perspective. On this matter, Eisenberg is surprisingly nonchalant about the deployment of the Iron Dome missile defense system, saying "Deploying the system means that we are willing to receive fire. I think that we don't need to get to a situation like this at all, but instead to take action to prevent it to begin with." Arn.

The next war may well be thousands of times more harsh than General Eisenbergs' wildest imagination and ,in my humble opinion ,the Iron Dome may well be a very expensive and useless "white elephant."

Warnings about the consequences of any attack against Israel from Syria, Lebanon and Iran in no uncertain terms must be sent to these countries .In particular, an attack against Tel Aviv or any other city,town or village will be responded to in kind by conventional or nuclear weapons.
