1. They must feel bad because the irish bit them to it.
Omri ,   Israel   (09.26.10)
5$ they got no fight in them.
2. sense of humor
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (09.26.10)
You must admire their sense of humor. The activists are on a mission to help Hamas, an organization that publicly calls for the physical extermination of the Jews and says that the extermination is not because of the "occupation of 1967" but the existence of Jews in Israel since 1920. The activists start their trip in "Northern Cyprus", an area of land of a sovereign state that Turkey illegally occupied in a bloody invasion and ethnically cleansed of its non-Muslim inhabitants.
3. ship of fools
(09.26.10)
4. Moshkovitz is a victim not a survivor
David ,   Shiloh Israel   (09.26.10)
Any Jew who fulls under the spell of those in the world who turn truth up side down in order to weaken the Jewish State of Israel, is a victim not a survivor. Isreal, with the help of Hashem, represents the true survival of the Jewish people. Sadly, those so called Jews have not only allowed themselves to be totally duped about their real enemy, and their actions, but also act against the best interests of the Jewish people in the process. Shame, shame and shame upon you!
5. Its Jews Like these
Anon ,   Johannesburg   (09.26.10)
That are the Jewish people's biggest enemy. No... Not Iran, Hezbollah, nor Hamas, Rather it is fellow Jews, that believe that the Palestinians want peace and to live side by side with a Jewish state & Muslim state. I blame this on the last (2010) evil of the holocaust, the fact the Jews (very small number of ) are to scared to protect themselves in a form of self-defence as not to be considered an aggressor. Unfortunately, these Jews will never understand the truth on the ground. tThat Gaza' will kill them the first chance they get. Islamic fundamentalism has no value for life, especially their own people’ as they play the Palestinian people as pawns while they collect donations from the world, and the gravy train continues to roll.
6. Activists Sail
Bruria   (09.26.10)
To bad they were not as interested in learning the truth. These useful idiots will scream the loudest when it is their turn to be subjugated.
7. Better to have thos sails then another IHH crap
Omri ,   Israel   (09.26.10)
8. useful idiots
ben ,   London   (09.26.10)
i am absolutely ashamed and appalled at the actions of these useful idiots..... they are misguided fools that are doing more harm than good.
9. no. 3 said it all, end!
tiki ,   belgium   (09.26.10)
10. After 62 years
Herb Snodown ,   Chicago,USA   (09.26.10)
When will Jews start worrying about Jews?
11. Useful Idiots
M. Duvduvani ,   Yokneam, Israel   (09.26.10)
I'm sure they think they are doing a very good deed. They aren't like us "bad" Jews in Israel and they're going to prove to the world and themselves how wonderful and special they are.
12. Who is financing them?
Follow the money   (09.26.10)
13. The Scorpion and the Frog
ansel   (09.26.10)
These Jews are the only activists that Israel should let in Gaza. Will hamas resist the temptation to sting them?
14. There is no siege to be broken, there is a blockade to ...
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (09.26.10)
... prevent the delivery of military material, e.g. weapons, ammunition, explosives, electronic equipment, etc. to a territory ruled by the internationally designated terrorist Islamist group of Hamas that is in armed conflict with the sovereign UN member state of Israel.
15. Akhm
John ,   Herzliya, Israel   (09.26.10)
to "show that not all Jews support Israeli policies toward Palestinians." So, I am waiting. I am waiting for a group of Palestinians to break the siege and show the world that not all Palestinians support Palestinian policies toward Israel. Yeah, I know..but I have time, I can wait..
16. Stop calling them "human rights" activists. They aren't!
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (09.26.10)
These people are lobbyists for Hamas or pro-Hamas activists. Their actions have almost nothing to do with "human rights".
17. Too bad
Rachel ,   USA   (09.26.10)
Mr.Moshkowitz doesn't have the same amount of empathy for his fellow Holocaust survivors, and their children, and grandchildren, in Israel who have been killed and injured by Palestinian terrorism,as he does for a population of people, the majority of which by all accounts sadly voted for, and support the terrorists.
18. O brave Jews, All due respect
Salma ,   Palestine   (09.26.10)
This tells us that Jews are not united on the occupation and siege. Yonatan Shapira, I admire you, hope Some day we'll meet ;)
19. Pro Arab activists
David ,   New York, USA   (09.26.10)
These people should be arrested, put in Israeli jails and tried for collaberating with terrorists
20. That's a ship?
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.26.10)
No, it's a skiff. A lifeboat is bigger. Carrying what -- 10 pounds of toys? What medical equipment? Load any real medical equipment onto that vessel, and it will sink. When is this farce going to end?
21. #18 Brave would be palestinians sailing to Gaza 4 shalit
Mike ,   UK   (09.26.10)
Would you like to be the first Moslem to condem the kidnap and torture of this poor kid?
22. Doesn't make sense
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.26.10)
"The Greek police just haled us to change our flag" I don't believe that. The vessel is U.K. flagged, which doesn't trouble the Greeks. A Turkish flag does trouble the Greeks, but that is not at issue here. You don't change flags just by virtue of being in a country's territorial waters. (Could you imagine if that were the case? A vessel would need nearly two hundred flags! The most I've ever heard of is two. And that's done exclusively for only two reasons, neither of which apply here.) This story is beginning to develop a stench to rival any of the food cooked by Ahmedinejad's chef .....
23. "humanitarian aid"?
tom ,   toronto, canada   (09.26.10)
how many tons of "humanitarian aid" is this provocation carrying? 400 truckloads a day pass through the border crossings into gaza, carrying thousands of tons A DAY of necessary supplies, including "medicines and toys". there are hundreds of smuggling tunnels under the border, bringing in many more tons of supplies every day. so apart from ensuring an unlimited supply of weapons to hamas, why is there such an urgent need to "break the blockade", and what are these supposed "activists" adding, besides provocation?
24. shame on them
Ilana   (09.26.10)
I want them in Sderot, Ashkelon and all the missile ridden towns where children and old people have to run for their lives
25. Just in time, more expired drugs needed as the other expired
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (09.26.10)
drugs were disposed of. And toys are desperately needed too as they are not profitable in the smuggling tunnels. But can this one little boat carry enough useless drugs and toys for two million people?
26. Let them go!!!
Joe ,   Israel   (09.26.10)
Let this shapira go to deliver this "aid" to HAMAS, maybe he can meet shalit and become a guest of HAMAS humanitarian room and board.
27. They fergot the holecaust
Omri ,   Israel   (09.26.10)
But on the good side this may lower the European Muslim anti-semetism.
28. Interesting how human rights activists, for whom "to protest
Bat Zion ,   Centre, Israel   (09.26.10)
against the persecution" is a "sacred duty", do not hesitate to sail from occupied Northern Cyprus. How about the children of Famagusta? What did they bring them?
29. Well, if the Lebanese named their ship "Miriam", Jews should
Bat Zion ,   Centre, Israel   (09.26.10)
have named theirs "Judas"
30. If they really get to gaza (not that they will):
Omri ,   Israel   (09.26.10)
I wonder how Hamas will take them in with all the famous Hamas classic combined with muslim anti-semetism ideology.
