I really think Ynet should give up using the AP & Reuters as a source of news. It might be cheaper & easier, always a consideration, but the product is total crap, biased (not in our favour), & generally just a stereotyped, unprofessional, & inaccurate account. I bet I'm not the only reader who finds the AP offensive. I'm sure there are Israeli journalists who could do a hell of a better job. Just a suggestion.

I'm just wondering why the Arab Ligue is so involved in this. Isn't this between the Israelis and the Palestinians? Why can't Abbas make his own decisions? If I were the A. L. i would say to israel: ok, we accept you, you are safe now. Now make peace with the Palestinians. Oh yeah, we also have to apologize to the Pals. for treating them so badly in our Arab countries... ". :P

Israel gave him 10 months and he spent 9 of them refusing what he is asking for now - and demanding more concessions from Israel (2000 prisoners released, easing of road blocks, etc.) what is he offering.

with a little change of phrasing we go from settlement freeze to colonization. abbas knew what he was saying and said it as provocation. he can't let the peace talks continue because they will ultimatly show that he wants no peace with Israel, he wants no Israel! but the world it seems if you believe the tripe printed in the press believe that abbas and the pa are the great peace lovers and Israel is a warmongering land grabbing aggressor. the bible spoke of a time like now when men would believe the lie and shun the truth.
