Why does Israel give away control over its holiest places without being forced to? Why do settlers populate empty hilltops everywhere instead of places like this one? Why does Israel leave the Temple Mount to an islamist "Waqf", banning Jews from their holiest site in the world, allowing them to destroy the remains of the Jewish Temple? If you don't want to retake your very own holy places, why did you conquer them in the first place? What would muslims do if they would conquer Jerusalem? Would they give the Mount to a jewish Waqf? (Answer: they would do what they did in 1948-67). So please tell me as a foreigner with limited knowledge of your country. Tell me. I want to understand: why do you give away your holiest places?
