1. "preventing access to an activist is concerning"???
William ,   Israel   (09.28.10)
Since when did these myopic, ill-intentioned Leftists believe that Israel is an open-door for any yahoo that wants to walk in and cause mayhem?? They certainly don't question Israel's sovereignty when they demand use of its services, but somehow they believe that a "democratic" country allows every nut through, especially those who want to cause her harm. In that regard, I would guess the Christmas Day bomber in the US should always be allowed to continue his trip because "preventing access to an activist is concerning". But, with that tongue in cheek statement, the truth is all States have the right to determine who can/cannot enter their sovereign. Just like Iran did a year ago.
2. Next Stop Wonderland
Frankie Littlehammer ,   New Herstal, TX, USA   (09.28.10)
Her next stop is Mecca, the capital of the Great Religion of Peace, where she'll talk about women's rites.
3. Arragant and obnoxious
Sami ,   New York, USA   (09.28.10)
This woman is arragant and obnoxious.
4. Peace activist=anti-Israel activist
Carl   (09.28.10)
It's funny I didn't see her here hanging out in Sderot while it was being shelled on a daily basis, or pushing for the rights of Jews expelled from Arab countries.
5. nobel prize winners think they are special
zionist forever   (09.28.10)
Arafat, Obama, Carter There are alot of washouts and enemies of Israel who have won Nobel Prizes bur because of they have that thing they think they are special and nobody has the right to turn them away. She is a trouble maker and not letting her into the country is a good idea her Nobel Prize doesn't give her an entry visa.
6. "I am a NOBEL laureate"
tiki ,   belgium   (09.28.10)
She may be, but that doesn't give her class or dignity as so many of the 'latest laureates. The woman is so biased and hatefull against Israel,(i heard her "blessings after she came back), so this 'laureate ship shouldn't protect her into the country she hates so much. It's about time that those 'peacemakers understand that 'foulmouthing Israel comes with a prize.
7. Cowardice
Salomon Mizrahi ,   Sao Carlos, Brazil   (09.28.10)
These women show essentially cowardice...They go to israel because they know they will be treated wonderfully... Why they don;t try to go to Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Cuba and defend liberties and human rights there..These women as despicable as people...non-example... they are celebrities..I still prefer an Amy Winehouse or Lindsay Lohan..at least they are authentic in their addiction
8. Another reason to have solitary confinement cells at the
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (09.28.10)
airport. Let them stew in a cell for a few days until they've had enough kosher food to come to their senses.
9. NOBEL laureate so what?
Norman Gellman ,   Rehovot, Israel   (09.28.10)
Arafat was also a NOBEL laureate! The prize does not give onyone the free entry to any country. She has shown her hatred for Israel in the past and should be kept out.
10. Disgusting granny gone wild, please pay
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (09.28.10)
a visit to your beloved Iran, they are in dire need for some compassion at the moment...
11. To: Frankie at No. 2
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.28.10)
Yikes, Frankie, I think I hope you meant to say "rights." The only women's "rites" I know of that would apply in Saudi Arabia is female circumcision. Ouch. Forget Mecca, though. Only Moslems are allowed to enter Mecca. Others who have tried, just to see if they could, have been beheaded for their efforts. Gosh, with any luck, Ms. Maguire will try ....
12. Israel views peace as a threat
(09.28.10)
13. She should not be permitted to set a foot on Israel's soil
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (09.28.10)
any more than necessary before deporting her. We, Jews, have no interest in seeing her face!!!
14. This 'woman' is a despicable nazi admirer and ..
Lee ,   Manchester UK   (09.28.10)
jihadist supporter born in a country where terrorism is the norm - so of course she loves the likes of hamas with their nazi inspired agenda of destroying the worlds Jews and Jewish state. Despicable old woman indeed.
15. Ship them right over to gaza!!!
Keith ,   wv,usa   (09.28.10)
Let them peddle their crap to someone that cares.
16. I call her a DISGRACEFUL PROVOCATEUR
Israeli 2   (09.28.10)
17. Did she say something about Gilad Shalit ?
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (09.28.10)
Did she say something about the rockets fired into Israel ? Human rights are NOT one sided .
18. Ahmadinutjob in drag.
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (09.28.10)
19. good decision
Ilana   (09.28.10)
good for Israel
20. ref #7 Cowardice
Noel ,   Cork, Ireland   (09.28.10)
She should be deported to South Africa to do activist work where human right abuses are the order of the day - Zimbabweans are presently being harrassed by South African police while they attempt to apply for refugee status and residence rights. The South African Nobel prize winners (Tutu, De Klerk, Mandela etc) are all in the country and are doing nothing to assist them against abuse - South Africa is not so soft as Israel when it comes to dealing with activists - maybe she can learn lesson out there!
21. dynamite guilt money
Potash Katiftof ,   Safed, Israel   (09.28.10)
Nobel started the prize because he felt guilty for inventing dynamite, and the award has been given to those that have used lots of it, ie Yasser Arafat and Obama
22. It appears that Israel is showing some good sense...
(09.28.10)
23. I see
DM   (09.28.10)
So I only need to declare myself a "peace activist" an I am automatically above the law? Neat!
24. With much reverence to the Nobel Laureate
m   (09.28.10)
Wasn't Arafat a Nobel Laureat? How many Jews did he kill? This "peace activist laureat" is still able to continue Arafat's "work", even in words
25. photo
Idalia ,   the netherlands   (09.28.10)
i just want to say the soldier on the photo is polite :P
26. Her most recent act of "peace"
R ,   Israel   (09.28.10)
I remember her last act of "peace" - it included anti-Israel activists using knives and chains. She should try pedalling women's rights in Somalia and Saudia Arabia.. If she wants in here, let her first prove her "good intentions" by obtaining basic rights for Gilad Shalit and the citizens of southern Israel who are under constant threat of rocket fire from the peaceful residents of Gaza.
27. And what about the Jewish activist who went to Mecca?
Golani ,   Vineland, USA   (09.28.10)
What about the Jewish activist who went to Mecca? That's right, that could not happen since Jews are not allowed in Mecca.
28. Nobel laureate has evolved into an oxymoron
David P. ,   Capitola, CA   (09.28.10)
Arafat was also a Nobel laureate, validating my point... The sad reality is this Nobel laureate will use the incident to further her 'work'
29. good job israel
pini ,   usa   (09.28.10)
tired of all these people pathetically trying to claim they are so damn self rightous, go away!
30. #17 WELL SAID BRAVO
LAWRENCE RAP ARTISTE ,   SAFED ISRAEL   (09.28.10)
