Protecting basic Israeli rights is important. But, if a freeze, gives a chance for real peace, doesn't that protect our basic rights? Doesn't working toward an Israel at peace, for our children serve the same goal, but only better? Winning the battle, but losing the war is never good for our rights, nor anyone else's. If the pro-Palestinian lobby is to have any credibility, then maybe they should concern themselves and take a firmer hand against Palestinian human rights crimes like gunning down Israeli civilians and continuing to fire hundreds of rockets at civilians. Groves is yet another dupe who thinks the Palestinians have immunity from international laws. They don't. Jews in Hebron are in legally owned Jewish homes that were stolen by Arabs in 1948. Jews in Gush Etzion are on land that was stolen by Arabs and then ethnically cleansed (including the war crime of the slaughter of Israeli POWs). Under international agreement passed by the UN, the Jews had every right to remain in the west bank in 1948. Those who were displaced by Arab occupation have returned. Groves is yet another propaganda parrot who pretends history begins in 1967 and that the Palestinians are angels who do no wrong. Wrong on both counts.
