peter ,   a'dam NL   (10.06.10)
" ...In May 2009, a petition was filed with the High Court of Justice motioning to halt the construction of the synagogue which proceeded to issue a temporary order to suspend construction until a decision is reached. Two months later the defense establishment issued a final order to halt construction and demolish the structure. The settlers appealed the decision but were rejected by the High Court of Justice..." What status does Ma'ale Shomron have for the Israeli govt.? Did the local inhabitants have a building permit? The problem is that WB/Yehudah & Shomron are under military law, not civil law.
