I want to thank Al-Jazeera for showing in their video that the men were throwing stones at the car before he tried to get away. I doubt the western media would have bothered to include the before detail. They would only have shown how the car hit the men, not why.

If he felt he was in danger, he had to protect himself. If someone is throwing stones at you, do they expect you to keep eyes on the road to avoid hitting you? Anyone deliberately throwing rocks at vehicles or soldiers is giving up their right to safety.
