peter vojta ,   czech republic   (10.11.10)

Barry ,   Boston, USA   (10.11.10)
You left out one very important point! If you are right, only Jews get crushed and if you are wrong, they have a chance of survival! It's worth a try for who?
33. To @ 10..Just sent a post and methinks one never >>
KATE ,   ISRAEL   (10.11.10)
One never knows the trickyness of the Arab/Pals who may come up with the idea (learned of late) by Accepting it,then peremptorily deny they it. As they are wont to do,talking from bothe sides of their mouths,or one in "english" then another in Arabic .Confusing ther issue. I would not trust any of them ,as far as I can throw them..Teling BB to wake up and smell the coffee is APT.
34. :: #20, maybe you first define border of Arab Empire
Matty Groves ,   Fairport   (10.11.10)
It includes the entire globe. Ask Arabs and they will tell you. Now, what is your question?
35. #19 Spare me the Jewish land speech?
Janice Cohen ,   ירושלים   (10.11.10)
Go post on Al-Hayat Al-Jadeeda.
36. Bravo Bibi. Recognition for Recognition
Joe K ,   Silicon Valley, USA   (10.11.10)
Hold on to your principles on this issue, BIBI. Either the Arabs that No One Wants recognize the legitimacy of Jewish self determination, or they take a hike. There is no point to negotiating with these irredentist cry babies. Their refusal to accept Israel on Israel's self defined terms, as they are demanding, unmasks the fraud of Oslo. This is long overdue. While you are at it, demand an immediate repudiation of PA sponsored racist incitement against Jews, and drive knowledge of their hate mongering as documented by www.memritv.org and Palestinian Media Watch into the World's Headlines. I've had enough of Arab racism, hate mongering, and irresponsibility.
37. The REAL funny thing here....
J K ,   NYC, USA   (10.11.10)
The Palestinians wont agree to this, but they want to found their country and demand the world approve of their kicking every JEWISH person out of their country-to-be. Laughable if it weren't so sad. Typical Arab logic.
38. There for Chaim no more Kadima,no more Labor,no more Meretz>
KATE ,   ISRAEL   (10.11.10)
The good Israel loving electorate must be educated(if need be)To choose the best of the bunch. Have we not voted in BB when he was on the stump on the rightist platform? So he should never try to deviate from it. Also I hope he listens carefully to Lieberman "the man of the moment" may he go from strength to strength with no turning back ever.
39. They are no longer stupid, Bibi
Ricardo Macher ,   Karnei Shomron   (10.11.10)
Bibi and the right in Israel deals with the Pals as if they were in the 70s or 80s. They are no longer stupid. In reality they have managed to get furhter more support than us. Bibi rather better close a deal soon or a solution will be imposed on us and we risk losing more than we want to keep.
40. Cool! So "Palestine" isn't the national homeland of the Pals
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (10.11.10)
If Israel isn't the national homeland of the Jewish people, then it is an obvious conclusion that "Palestine" cannot possibly be the national homeland of the "Palestinian people". Hmmm... does this mean that there really isn't such a thing as the "Palestinian nation"?
41. Livni forgets 1973, and destined to repat it
Edmond ,   london UK   (10.11.10)
"Why is a confrontation with the US better than a confrontation in the coalition?" asks Livni. This is precisely what Golda Meir asked - she preferred an attack from Egypt to a diplomatic spat with America. that is what she got. It is also what Rabin, Barak, Olmert got. Instead of standing strong, they got ito their own Oslo wars and intifadas.
42. Abbas will never agree !
Gabe Yakmore ,   Canada   (10.11.10)
Annex Judea and Samaria now !
43. Bibi,a bumbling idiot
chaim schonbrun ,   brooklyn ny   (10.11.10)
who the hell needs the recognition from a bunch of murderous terrorist gangsters.? Either we have the right to build homes in YESHA or we don't. what does recognition have to do with it?.
44. Preconditions
dan ,   chicago, USA   (10.11.10)
We can argue over pre-conditions or we can just sit down and talk. Palestinians claim to want a homeland, and Israel is ready to make that a reality, but Palestinians don't want to even talk about it. Natenyahu has said that he'll talk to Abbas any place, any time, even in Ramallah. But if Abbas insists on preconditions, why shouldn't Israel do the same? Abbas has the power to drop this whole nonsense and make Palestine a reality. Or not.
45. "settlements" like "recognition" was not the issue before
David P. ,   Capitola, CA   (10.11.10)
two can play at that game
46. #19: The majority of Jews in Israel are refugees f
dan ,   chicago, USA   (10.11.10)

47. matty no. 39, why all the deception?
matty's nightmare   (10.11.10)
on another topic today, you were from brazil U R not fooling anyone stop playing your infantile games
48. from dumb-ka to chess
Golan ,   Modiin   (10.11.10)
in the 1990's Sheransky explained that Israel was playing checkers while Arafat was playing chess. It seemed Israel finally learned to play a few moves ahead. By demanding something in return (aside form empty promises from Arabs or Americans) we have punted the ball back to the Arab court. Good job BB
49. # 22 "Peaceful" muslims in Europe
Norwegian Citizen ,   Oslo, Norway   (10.11.10)
Just like you I also find myself completely on the right (I am an ex-leftist). This is solely the results of palestinian and muslim behviour, not only in Israel, but also in my hometown Oslo where I have seen them "demonstrate against Israel" by smashing up the citycentre, beating up peaceful pro-Israel demonstraters (one of the pro-Israel demonstrators was 78 years old, and got a beating from several muslim immigrant youths). And the muslim-youths also went "jewhunting" - looking for more jews to beat up. They were also chanting pro-Hitler slogans, and tough they are only about 5% of the population, they are taking up 1/3 of the prisons here in Norway. All this has convinced me that the muslims/Arabs cannot accept ANY country of what they perceive as their Dhimmis. They reject Israel, and they even reject the democracy and freedom of Norway and other European countries were they set foot. Muslim-arabs (and most other muslim groups) just seem to be unable to co-exist peacefully with others - and they even claim that their religion is a religion of peace...
50. Disgusting norwegian politicians
Norwegian Citizen ,   Oslo, Norway   (10.11.10)
Norwegian government is throwing the norwegian taxpayers money after Hamas and other shitty projects in the arab-territories. In other words: The disgusting norwegian government is supporting these terrorists with money they that steal from the norwegian taxpayers. Some of these politicians are from the same party (Arbeiderpartiet) that co-operated with the nazis when they took over Norway during ww2.
51. Peace for peace, land for land, recognition for recognition

CHECKMATE!!!! Hole in One! Aced! Now you are talking Bibi! Stand firm, and be strong! AM YISRAEL CHAI!!! The Jewish State forever!
52. # 6
Birdi ,   Israel   (10.11.10)
NO WAY will the Palestinians "become proserous" on our backs. We have worked too damned hard to make Israel what it is today.

What a load of hogwash.
54. To: Kate at No. 30
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (10.11.10)
Oh, I think that the fractious and divided "Palestinian" community is lost on no one. What is the point of achieving some level of laissez-faire with Fatah? It does not include Islamic Jihad. It does not include Popular Front for the Liberation of "Palestine." Nor does it include Hamas or Hizbollah. Or the other twenty-five or so Palestinian organizations. "Negotiations" with a foe that seeks your destruction is a non-starter. The quid pro quo is out there; no one can any longer accuse Israel of intransigence. It is abundantly clear who the intransigent ones are .... Netanyahu gave Abbas just enough rope with which to hang himself; hang himself he has. Beautifully, beautifully played, Bibi!
55. Will never happen, there were no such thing called "Israel"

57. To: No. 19 - Second Attempt
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (10.11.10)
"1. this will affect the rights and freedom of the 1.5 million palestinian (arab israeli) in israel who make more than 22% of israels population." No it won't. Israeli Arabs enjoy the same rights and privileges as all other citizens of the State of Israel (although not all of the obligations). Perhaps you have noticed that despite the fact that the "Palestine" Authority has been in existence for two decades, not a single Israeli Arab has left Israel in order to help build a viable "Palestinian" state. Have you ever wondered why? "2. what do you think about refugees? after hitler commited horrible crimes against jews, you gained your right of having your own state on other people's land, and spare me the jewish land speech, there are more than 6 million palestinian refugee in the world, what about those they cant have a home?!!!" Israel was well on the way to statehood long before the outbreak of the Second World War. Following the War, there were nearly 13 million displaced people on the European continent, many of them Jews; people who could not or would not return to their pre-war homes. These refugees were resettled by other countries. I remind you that the Arabs who fled in 1948 did so because the Arab leadership told them to get out of the way of the conquering Arab armies, who would drive the Jews into the sea. Those that did not heed the call are citizens of Israel today and enjoy a higher standard of living than most of the Arab world. Those that did heed the call are refugees to this day; why haven't more of the twenty-one Arab states resettled their brother Arabs? Or does the fact that the "Palestinians" have made trouble and subsequently been expelled from Jordan, Lebanon, Tunisia, Kuwait, Oman and Muscat have anything to do with it? The "Palestinians" seem to foment trouble wherever they go. "3. it will increase racism and discrimination." Can you substantiate this non-sequitur? "4. israel did not even recognize the state of palestine yet, and you want us palestinians to recognize your state identity!! recognize our right of having a free state and then we will think about it!! all you israelis want is take and take you should give from time to time." There is no "state of Palestine." There could have been -- there have been no fewer than three offers of a two-state solution, including one which would have awarded the "Palestinians" ninety percent of the West Bank and East Jerusalem as a capital. Arafat (may his name be cursed throughout eternity) walked away from the deal and chose to start the Second Intifada. How is that the fault of Israel? "5.you can call your state whatever you want, if you wanted to call it the best state in the world why would we have a problem with that? its not us who decide or give you the permission to name your state, its up to you and we don't have anything to do with that." Yes. We know. It is called the State of Israel. The issue is not what it is called; the issue is why "Palestinians" refuse to recognize a geopolitical fact. "6. Opinion and freedom of beliefs are a big part of Democracy and basic human rights." Correct. Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East; its Arab citizens enjoy the right to vote and have full access to all social services. Freedom of expression is untrammeled. Freedom of religion is sacred in the State of Israel. The remnant of Jews remaining in Arab / Moslem countries have no such civil liberties, nor are they permitted to leave. You have no business lecturing the Jewish people on democracy and basic human rights -- clean up your own house first.
58. #55 dangerous talk

No such thing as "Israel"? It is written in the Koran itself. You must immediately apologize for this heresy.
