...minority rule does not last. 8.5 million native Palestinians are 60% of the total population in Israel, Gaza, the West Bank, and refugees from 1948.
2. Jewish & Democratic

Very good article. If one does not wish to live in a Jewish and democratic state then there about 200 other countries in the world who are not Jewish. Choose one of these is my suggestion. The PA who have rejected a Jewish state as neighbor and called this racist have a law that if an Arab sells land to a Jew he is to get the death penalty. In Israel minorites get to vote and get elected to public office. Thing may not be perfect but if a minority tries to get along chances he has a very good chance of success. Certainly better than a minority Palestinian in say Lebanon living in a camp 60 years later with no rights to live anywhere else in Lebanon.
3. Symmetry
micha ,   Passaic, NJ, USA   (10.13.10)
Tibhi talks of "ethnic clensing", but Israel says nothing about expelling Arabs. Unlike what happened to Jews in Gaza, and is assumed would be part of the deal for the West Bank. So the issue really is symmetry: The Palestinian notion of two states is that one is Arab only and the other is mixed -- complete with "right of return". Whereas Netanyahu is demanding not full symmetry but just the acknowledgement that in exchange for getting an Arab state, they must acknowledge that the other is Jewish. (Even though in the end, Israel would have Arab citizens, but the PA would not harbor Jews.) -micha

5. Jewish and Democratic Declaration

While I acknowledge the discomfort those of the effete navel gazers regarding nationalistic declarations, I think Bibi's move point is right on target. The demand that Arabs recognize Israel as a Jewish Homeland is fundamental to the legitimacy of Israel continuing in this "Peace Process." Abbas' obfuscation and refusal to accept the Jewish National Home as legitimate unmasks the fraudulence that was Oslo. The imbecilic LEFT, defending the BIG LIE of Arab intentions, hope to camouflage their perfidy with "smarter and more sophisticated than thou" disingenuous pronouncements that miss the point. We are negotiating with Enemies that would see us dead and gone, not accepted as peaceful neighbors with rights of self determination. And the left presses forward with in this suicidal farce. Time to stop calling spit in your face rain, wake up and smell the coffee. The left have proven themselves to be self hating delusional idiots. The Emperor Has No Clothes!!!!

You've really got to read a few more books, from all sides!
8. Excellent analysis.

I've to admit that this Senior Fellow Emeritus says it all. Jewish and Democratic Israel is. What a shame that some politicians for reasons best known to them refuse to honestly say this openly.
9. Very cooled-down & sharp analysis. Bravo!
