1. arabs & settlers found something they agree on
zionist forver   (10.14.10)
The arabs in Israel don't want two states because they dream of one day creating an arab state in Israel itself. Make the two state solution impossible then the arabs will start saying the only solution is a single arab state. We also have many settlers who mistakenly believe that Israel can annex Judea & Samaria, give palestinians all Israeli citizenship but expect jews to continue to rule the roost.
2. P.A. wants to destry Israel. Israel wants to thrive.
Chaim ,   Israel   (10.14.10)
Nothing is more obvious than the fact that "Palestinians" have the opposite goals, in the "peace talks", from Israel. "Palestinians" want to destroy Israel. Israel wants to thrive. That is the situation in a nutshell.
3. Like the PLO wants peace
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (10.14.10)
None of the Arabs have ever done anything for peace nor will they so long as they know they will get something for nothing.
4. Interesting point
ezra ,   Yerushalayim   (10.14.10)
that Israeli Arabs would try to scuttle a "hitkansut" (gerush) of the Jews of Yehudah and Shomron to the Galil or Negev. By the same token we can expect the "Arabs of 67" to make every effort to sabotage the transfer of millions of impoverished Lebanese Pals(and their militias) into their territory.. The "2-state solution" is in nobody's interest.
5. #4
Cameron ,   USA   (10.14.10)
But by virtue of demographics, and the sheer weight of necessity, it will come to pass. One can only watch & wait for the inevitable. Fate
6. another reason arab israelis are more radical
daniel m ,   new york, ny, usa   (10.14.10)
Perhaps a one-state solution in which Arabs are the majority is preferable to a two-state solution in which they are a forgotten minority.
7. Israel is not capable of moving 500,000 settlers.
michael redbourn ,   Arad Israel   (10.14.10)
9,000 Israelis were uprooted from Gaza and it was the biggest Army operation since the Yom Kippur war and it took 10 days. Approximately 500,000 Israelis live in the West Bank, so who could evacuate them? Even the PA know that so why doesn't the writer?
8. anyone else here ever notice
pini ,   usa   (10.14.10)
how abbas always looks like a disgruntled little child who never seems to want to be where he is, like hes thinking "no fair, these israelis wont give me my way!, i just wana go play my new xbox!"
9. Israeli Arabs prefer to live under Israeli rule
rebecca ,   Modiin   (10.14.10)

12. Top officers and soldiers come from Yesha !
Trumpeldor ,   eurabyeh   (10.15.10)
30 years ago, kibboutzim were the vanguard of Zionism and the best soldiers came from that minority Now,the new trend is the swelling of combat units with top soldiers and officers from the religious zionist groups ! Gush katif mistakes will not be repeated despite barak husein's desires !
13. question for Mr. Bechor
Mr. Greenglass ,   Ashdod   (10.15.10)
Although it is not something I would want to happen at all, why would tens of thousands of settlers being moved to the Galil and the Negev be a bad thing for the Arabs there, and why at their expense? There wouldn't be enough room? This would be such a significant demographic. Arabs live among large Jewish demographics in Haifa and northern Jerusalem. Is this a terrible thing for them?
14. 13# well said, I don't get this point too
T.I ,   Israel   (10.15.10)
15. As an Israeli-Arab, here what i think
Rami of Nazareth ,   iSRAEL   (10.15.10)
1- While it's true other arabs might look at us as traitors (just for being israelis), It is their problem, out of their ignorance and we don’t need to prove anything to them. 2- We see our future living in Israel together with our Jewish country men, resettling settlers in the Galilee (if it actually happens) is no problem and they are welcomed. The main reason the voice of the radicals is stronger than the voice of the moderate majority in the Israeli-Arab street is because the Israeli government never supported or promoted the moderates. On the contrary, all we get is frequent inciting statement by government officials and a policy of exclusion from the collective Israeli society supported by racist laws passed by the Knesset.
16. To: No. 11
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (10.15.10)
If Israel isn't their choice, why haven't they moved to the West Bank to help build a "Palestinian" state? Isn't that what Jews from all over the world did in 1948; flock to Israel in droves to help build a thriving, modern Jewish state? Yes, that is exactly what the Jews did. One does wonder why not a single "Palestinian" living anywhere in the world has not availed him or herself of the opportunity to live under the auspices of the "Palestine" Authority. Kind of puts paid to the "Palestinian" argument for statehood, doesn't it? Yes. It does.
17. Cought in the Middle
walldizo ,   Beirut   (10.15.10)
As if stealing the Palestinian's land is not enought, you want to punish them for being there before your God "donated", what he doesn't own to those who don't deserve it.
18. walldizo #17 just one question
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (10.16.10)
If we are 'stealing Palestinian' land, can you tell me a single solitary square millimeter of 'Palestinian Land' prior to 1968?
19. To: No. 17
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (10.16.10)
Excuse me? How does one steal what one owns? Huh? Do please tell me -- I'm anxious to learn .....

i know israil choise is to transfere these arabs to any where but not israil . but it is not the arabs choice their choice is to be in their homes and their land whatever is the ruler is or the nationality is >>becouse of that i said t is not simple not pure .. sometimes you can not change the event you can not accept it but you will live with its complications
23. Spoilt brats
Raphael ,   Netanya   (10.16.10)
There are 2 sorts of Arabs in Israel: those who accept equal rights&duties, including paying taxes and serving in IDF (Druze, Beduins), and those whose link to Israel is limited to take social benefits. They all were released in 1966 from the military rule. This was an error, to be corrected on democratic bases: All the draft dodgers, criminals and tax escapers should be excluded from citizenship and assorted social welfare. Up to them to chose their residence.
24. what is interesting is
Golan ,   Modiin   (10.16.10)
neither the left nor the Arabs ever call on the Arabs to make concessions, only no Israel. And the more the peace process turned into a farce the more radical their position came, such as dividing Jerusalem, accepting the so called right of return, and now recognizing Israel as the Jewish state as opposed to a binational state.
