The previous YNet article on this incident stated that the youth and his father claimed he was on the sidewalk when he was hit by the car. The video, even as it was shown on Al Jazeera clearly showed the youths in the middle of the road and throwing rocks. That obvious lie in testimony is excluded from this article.

I can't say with confidence that 100% of Israeli parents teach to make peace, but I know that all the parents that don't teach that are probably settlers., I'm a beatles fan and my favorite song is Imagine by John Lennon. We don't teach our kids to be suicide bombers, nor do we give them "hero" posters of IDF soldiers who have killed Palestinians - the Palestinians do that. We have dozens of "peace" organizations, but there is no Palestinian equivalent of "Peace Now". We do make videos "Abba give me money so I can buy a gun" like the ugly Hamas video just released on You Tube. Gadi, since you are a teenager it is 100% natural that you enjoy the ideas that brighten people's mood (no offence intended). But when life experience comes, you are going to discover that this world is full of people who simply don't like you being alive and around, for no OBVIOUS reason. The factual reason is that you are _different_ from them, which is unforgivable in their eyes. i was taught NOT to throw stones at people driving cars and also guilt by association. if i am in a store & a friend commits even a minor pilferage, i am just as guilty. When you raise your children from birth, to hate Jewish people simply because they Jewish. Why would you be surprised a 12 year old is throwing rocks at a father and son simply driving down the road. Palestinians shoot civilians driving down the street, so throwing rocks should come as no surprise. The picture clearly shows a car surrounded by children...at least one wearing a hood to hide his face...attacking a car. Put yourself in that situation. Your driving down a street with your son in the car, suddenly, your attacked by at least half a dozen kids throwing rocks at your car. The windows are shattering around you, what do you do?
