5. Great Site But...
Ginette Golden ,   Toronto, Canada   (11.05.10)
Why do they have only the photos of three IDF soldiers? Why not more? I wish to write to all of them. I want to let them know than not everybody in the Diaspora gobbles up the lies and half-truth spread about this wonderful tiny and courageous country. I had comments more than questions. I reinforced the fact that the West distorts the truth as far as Israel is concerned. There is no army on this planet more concerned with the safety of civilians as the IDF. The Israeli army is getting a "bum wrap" in the West media because for some strange reason the Arab propaganda machine is very well oiled (no pun intended) and for an even stranger reason, the Arabs have become very skilled at "doctoring photographs" and spreading their never ending lies. I pray for them and Israel every day. Shalom
6. Great tool for Palestinians to use to sue troops
Eric ,   Tel Aviv & NY   (11.05.10)
Nice to see that the Army is selling out our troops and making this great tool for Palestinians to use to sue troops
7. Eric = drama queen ve chai be seret
Oren ,   Tel Aviv and LA   (11.07.10)
This isn't the "Army's" doing, this is an opportunity for anyone around the world to ask an everyday English-speaking Israeli a question since most Israelis have been soldiers anyway. You can get insight that hasn't been skewed by media reporters who usually have hidden agendas, it's straight from the source. Plus yes I'm sure that's the first thing every Palestinian thought when they came across friendasoldier, "Yes now is my opportunity to sue them!"
8. What makes this project so special???
Chief ,   The Holyland   (11.07.10)
The answer is that Friend-a-Soldier is the first and only website where anyone can go right to the source and get a transparent down to earth view of the conflict from the people who served in the IDF. They can make a personal connection with an IDF soldier, quickly and easily.
9. It works, it really works!
Ginette Golden ,   Toronto, Canada   (11.08.10)
I went into their website and found only three soldiers listed on it. So I wrote to all three and each took the time to reply to me. I did not really have questions because I know how distorted the news media really operates in the West. I mostly had comments for them, on how special Israel is to us Jews and how the IDFis the most decent army of any civilized countries and how I prayed for their safety day and night. # 7 Oren is right...# 6 Eric is such a drama queen who does not understand the value of such website. I guess it's easier to whine. Shavoua tov.
10. Kissing butt with anti-Israel haters? Is that what this is?
Jae ,   Lynn US   (11.13.10)
Better to shrae with eth majority of humanity in the middle, then the extreme IFF and terror supporters to be often found on the streets of berkely cambridge london khan Yunnis and mecca and darfur...
