Carson Wruts ,   New York New York   (10.17.10)
For many years now radical muslims are using violence and weapons on IDF soldiers who are called in to keep the peace. Radical Muslim supporters arrive in Israel as tourists and violently demonstrate attacking uniformed soldiers and police each week in these violent demonstrations. Only in Israel can a radical Muslim and violent radical Muslim supporter attack soldiers and police and threaten the security of a country and get away with it 99% of the time. Those radical Muslims and their Violent radical supprting tourists use cameras as a weapon as well hoping to capture the soldiers reaction to a terror attack on them and then expose the footage as though it was an attack on peacefull demonstrators. Israel wants so much to be like America, so go a head already be like America, make the Rock + acid filled bottles dangerous objects recognized as attempted murder in the Israel law books. Then charge all accordingly. As long as you don't do it, you will get what you deserve. I blame Israel for not filming and exposing to the world what the Radical Arab population in Israel are doing. I say there should be 1 law for the obiding citizen and Sharia law punnishment for crimes that The radical Muslim and The radical Muslim supporters commit. Sharia Law in Israel for the radcical Muslim and then there will be peace.
3.  How many people in the world would complain that the Jews
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (10.17.10)
were able to outsmart them? Israel is building a legitimate fence for defense from suicide bombing terrorist scum and these people prattle on that Israel is not being fair in outsmarting them. The loud sound you hear is the wind going through their ears.
4. Unbelivable - Israel calls itself a democracy?
Greg   (10.17.10)
the right to demonstrate is a corner stone of any democracy. When next intifida starts it is not because violant palestinians, it is bacuse israeli idiocy.
5. disgraceful
marko ,   tel aviv   (10.17.10)
disgraceful and disgusting actions by the IDF shame on you, tear down the wall
6. 4# and 5#, the fence saves lives
Judah ,   Golan Heights,ISRAEL   (10.17.10)
7. and Hamas dresses as women to kill civilians
William ,   Israel   (10.17.10)
I believe the IDF has full legal justification here based on two reasons: 1) they are going after criminals not civilians, 2) the protests are violent and take place in closed military zones. Take a lesson from the WTO protests around the world. The outcome was much more violent there than at the hands of the IDF. Perhaps we should just hire Blackwater to take care of West bank security. I guarantee no Israelis would venture back there for weekly protests and the Arabs would finally behave themselves.
8. Dude you are missing the point.
Tomer ,   Israel   (10.17.10)
Im all for demostrate and everyone in Israel can demostrate but if you use stones and try to destroy the fence/hit the soldiers you are going to get payback. theres peacefull demonstration... and theres violent one. if you use force you will get it in your face.
9. #4 - taken out of context, Greg
William ,   Israel   (10.17.10)
A very typical Leftist response to a legitimate argument. 1) The West Bank is NOT part of Israel officially (until annexed) but Israel does have the obligation of security in that region. That is put forth in Intl Law and the "Palestinians" themselves cite it whenever they want something from Israel (without giving anything back, of course). Therefore, this is not a question of Israel democracy as it occurs outside of Israel-proper. 2) even the "Palestinians" admit they protest violently and no democratic society in the world allows protests IF they are violent. You should know better, you yutz.
10. #5 - when terror ends, the wall can come down
William ,   Israel   (10.17.10)
Remember, there was no wall there in 2000 yet "Palestinians" were busy blowing up buses and restaurants. Since the wall was built, terror has dropped by 99% and car thefts by these same West Bank criminals has dropped by 87%. Even the mayor of Jenin cited the wall as the reason for crime leaving his city. Palestinian Islamic Jihad cited the wall as a reason they can't perpetrate suicide missions inside Israel, in an interview with Al-Jazeera. So, despite your selfish naive viewpoints, the wall is very much justified. Better the Arabs work for peace and the wall will be removed the same way it was in Gilo. And by the way Marko, I have never heard any condemnation from you when the Arabs dress up as religious Jews in order to kill Israeli civilians. Surely arresting people is much more humane than killing them, right? Racist jerk!
11. #8 I forgot that only Israel has right to use force
(10.17.10)
12. it seems you force them to radicalize.. shame on humanity.

13. 10#, The fence should NEVER come down
Judah ,   Golan Heights,ISRAEL   (10.17.10)
Even if terror ends(unlikely) it should still stay up. In fact we quickly need a fence between Egypt and Israel too. The security barrier also stops criminals and illegal immigratiion.
14. Duh
Smith ,   TA, Israel   (10.17.10)
Why would anyone be surprised at this video? The regime in the West Bank is a military dictatorship. It's something, ironically, that both the settlers and the Palestinians can agree on. 1 point for mutuality :-)
15. Israel as brutal as Iran
Eric ,   Canada   (10.17.10)
Israel is as brutal as Iran in suppressing demonstrators and protesters. Congratulations.
16. Sexists!!!!
Sidney ,   New York   (10.18.10)
They arrested the guys and let the girl go. Sexists! Next time be equal. Arrest them all!
17. #11 - in response to violence...yes
William ,   Israel   (10.18.10)
But notice in the rare occurances when Arabs led peaceful protests....no one was hurt and the Israeli police or IDF just stood by. If the protesters lift a rock in a threatening manner, they just lost their civilian protection and the IDF can react. But you seem to think that a rock throwing protester is justified because in Gaza, Israel hit a car full of terrorists. Not buying it.
18. #15 - apparently you haven't met any Iranian opposition
William ,   Israel   (10.18.10)
and you again fail to hide your bias as the protests Iran put down (brutally) were indeed peaceful. These rock-throwers were not.
19. leftist claptrap
hebrew prophet ,   israel   (10.18.10)
In Greece the army/military police have to use force to evict leftist looneys from an historic Greek tourist site,in France stupid irresponsible French students in their teens go on the rampage against the raising of the retirement age to 62,in Israel the security apparatus does what it,s supposed to do,infiltrate and weed out lefist/looney troublemakers wherever they find them, spot the pardox bewteen stupid and clever ?
20. 13. 10#, The fence should NEVER come down
cerno ,   canada   (10.18.10)
you are quite correct , build the fence all the way around israel, no one gets in, and more importantly, no one or nothing gets out. im sure your skywizard god thingy will look after you in your prison
