We are all (pro & con; left & right) starting out from a flawed position. We all think that merely saying the words of a loyalty oath will keep all of us honest, forthright and true to the State of Israel. Tis a good thing to think that way; itsays that we all believe in the basic goodness of our fellow man/woman. But we all really should know that well not all men/women who swear to this or that reeally mean what they are saying! Two examples: Take for example Doctor Baruch Goldstein...he swore to uphold the physician's oath and well we all know about the massacre he carried out in direct violation of his oath. Take for example the former MK Bashara an MK for crying out loud swore loyalty to Israel and where is he today...over there in the Nasrallah/Hisballah camp. So really people let's get real and realize that saying the words doesn't really mean anything...it is about one's actions!

The AACI is checking this issue out. Frankly it hadn't occurred to them 'til a friend of mine wrote. She received a letter from their legal advicer thanking her and saying it was being looked into, and the next day one from the AACI National in Jerusalem saying a meeting of the board would be called over it! They are quite concerned.
