1. The Left has no regret for loss of Jewish life!!!!
Dovid ,   Modiin   (10.20.10)
2. I disliked Rabin (still do) but...
Golan ,   Modiin   (10.20.10)
I focus my dislike of the man for his policies which I thought were a mistake although I gave him the benifit of the doubt even while opposing him. I disliked his attitude and his multi ministry portfoli (PM DM, Education Minister, minister of health, minister of internal security, minister of Jerusalem Affairs... he was a one man government.) I disliked the risks he put us through (but unlike Barak and BB he did not gamble.) I also noted when he said to Arafat "if you are so weak and Hamas is so strong, why am I talking to you?" Can we remember that? Can we remember what the left and center and right of center forgets and that was that Rabin was willing to undo all of Oslo if and when (and it did) fail? Rabin divided the nation, caused a lot of pain. He was anti-democratic, He promised and lied. So did Sharon, so did Barak, BB still has a big question mark but it does not look good. But to call for his death was needless theatrics. The Pulsa Denura is a travesty and anti- democratic.
3. May I live to see the Justice of G-d against these men!

4. An Arab would be in Jail for this incitement
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (10.21.10)
...or assassinated in their wheelchair by a helicopter gunship while coming out of religious services.
5. The message of YNet & Co : blame the Right!
Jaacov Baumann   (10.21.10)
What YNet & Co are doing is sheer manipulation ! They set the picture as if the Right is Israels greatest threat - not all the terrorists from Hezballah to PLO, not Iran - but the Right! Why ? I think the Israeli media has joined forces in- and outside Israel that want to wipe out the jews in Jehuda and Shomron to enable the handout of historical Israel to a bunch of terrorists! Who is finally pulling the strings? The same spirit that brought 6 million jews to the gas chambers ! Therefore YNet and Co should carefully reevaluate their goals ! Otherwise they are part of Israels enemies !
6. The right wing wants to kill democracy
Avi ,   israel   (10.21.10)
unfortuently violence is the only language these people understand, just like their religious views they enforce their so called life style on others who do not share their beliefs or idiology. The democracy they are trying to kill is the very same democracy that allows them to lead their lifestyle. Their mentality is if you dont agree with someones politaical or religius view then kill them. Those people are tottaly sick and they will not be allowed to impose their mentality on others. The left and the right wing will never agree the only answer is civil war of which we are heading. The settlers are a fanatical 4% that put their own selfish needs based on a religious belief before the majoirty of peace loving decent people of this country.
7. Despite the Altalena
SL ,   NY   (10.21.10)
Despite the fact that Rabin, under orders from Ben-Gurion, fired on the ship Altalena, killing fellow Jews bringing arms to Israel, it was a major violation of Jewish law (halacha) for anyone to have 'taken the law into his own hands' such as Yigal Amir reportedly did. The reporter obviously picked some extremist radicals to incite the public,
8. Interesting article...
Arthur ,   SF, CA   (10.21.10)
On one hand (if you're not religious) - you discard that ritual as some superstition. Nothing more than that. On the other hand (if you have emuna) - you think that Rabin got what he deserved. Either way you look at it - those, who were (still) pro-Oslo will find any excuse to whitewash Rabin. They will even say that he was ready to reverse Oslo.... And people who opposed Oslo - can point at the thousands of innocent Jewish lifes lost. 15 years later - it's still a big issue. I think more in terms of what goes around - comes around. Altalena. That was a payoff.
9. To Avi # 6
Shai ,   Holon   (10.21.10)
Perhaps you're being a bit too general? All of the right and all of the settlers are "fanatical"? Was it the right who sent police/soldiers to beat the hell out of young men and women in Amona? Was it the right who killed fellow Jews on the Altalena? Generalizations won't help us overcome all our rifts. If you're intellectually honest, check out an article that was recently on this site called "A Trip to Outpost Land". Perhaps it will open up your eyes a bit.
10. I fail to see a difference. The Torah tells you this . . .
Stewart ,   U.S.A.   (10.21.10)
and the Qouran tells them that. Funny how the extreme, religious right have no trouble justifying murder. The left has no trouble either. They just don't need god to use as an excuse.
11. #7 since u r picking at historical bones...
(10.21.10)
please do enlighten us FULLY as to all of the events which lead up to the firing on the Altalena!
12. get real
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (10.21.10)
Either the ceremony really worked, in which case this guy is to blame, or it didn't, in which case this guy is no different than millions of Israelis (and billions of people around the world) who sometime in their life cursed someone. Does anyone in the extreme Left who like to call themselves rational really believe that the ceremony had anything to do with Rabin's death? That would be funny
13. #12 u get real...open ur mind 2!
(10.21.10)
Yes please do seriously considering opening your mind to the possibility that there are G-d fearing people on the left side of the political spectrum and that we know the power of blessings and curses! Additionally it isn't what we on the left believe it is actually what the cursers believed at the moment that they cursed! Now please do get real and stop being so silly and funny!
14. the left, the right, the worthless jew
