The "Palestinians" denounce violence and terror and repudiate their vile charters calling for the destruction of the State of Israel and the extermination and/or expulsion of the Jewish people. The "Palestinians" recognize that Israel is a Jewish State. Absent that, Madame Secretary, there is nothing to negotiate. Six wars. Nearly seventy years of terror. Don't those have to count for something? Would the United States "negotiate" with Al Qaeda? Of course not. Then why should the State of Israel negotiate with ANY "Palestinians?"

With or without direct talks, these negotiations are going nowhere.
