1. the arab refugees
David ,   Haifa, Israel   (10.21.10)
these arabs ran the clock for 9 months before coming to the table. they must make a goodwill gesture to us in israel. recognize a jewish state. release gilad shalit and all other regugees must live in the newly formed palestine. and you can take all the other arabs as well in israel. we do not want those animals ayway. OR NO DEAL!
2. she better stay at home and cook or clean
ghostq   (10.21.10)
considering Carter tearm is the one who gave Humeini and the dark regim of Iran the power of leadership. so before she can say anything about anything, she better clean the mess with Iran.
3. New Palestinian elections would be a good 1st step
Eric ,   Tel Aviv & New York   (10.21.10)
Until Abbas is again elected President of the Palestinian people it is a big problem in his legitimacy for negotiating. Would also help if he agreed to the goal of "2 states for 2 people "
4. Dear Madame Secretary
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (10.21.10)
Don't know quite how to break this to you, but Jews -- Israel -- are not looking for "accommodation." We are looking for complete and total surrender. They have, after all, lost six wars and pretty much lost their personal "war" which involved terror on a previously unimagined scale. No. Complete submission. Then -- and ONLY then -- will Israel throw them a crumb. By all international convention and statute, the "Palestinians" deserve NOTHING. They have chosen the wrong path. Why should Israel grant them anything? Why? How much did the United States grant the Germans following World War Two? How much did the United States grant the Japanese following World War Two? Why should Israel be treated any differently in the framework of international law? Why? I'll tell you what. The quid pro quo is exactly as iterated by Prime Minister Netanyahu. The "Palestinians" recognize the right of the State of Israel to exist in its ancient homeland. The "Palestinians" recognize that they are mere interlopers and squatters in the State of Israel. The "Palestinians" denounce violence and terror and repudiate their vile charters calling for the destruction of the State of Israel and the extermination and/or expulsion of the Jewish people. The "Palestinians" recognize that Israel is a Jewish State. Absent that, Madame Secretary, there is nothing to negotiate. Six wars. Nearly seventy years of terror. Don't those have to count for something? Would the United States "negotiate" with Al Qaeda? Of course not. Then why should the State of Israel negotiate with ANY "Palestinians?"
5. Negotiations are a farce.
Terry ,   Eilat - Israel   (10.21.10)
With or without direct talks, these negotiations are going nowhere. Obama & his team of nitwit leftists screwed it up anyway, now they want concessions from Netanyahu, but, of course, nothing from Palestinians. Netanyahu made a blunder agreeing to a two-state solution. The more he talks about ''peace'' the more pressure will be brought to bear on him. It's time to end the charade.
6. Indeed, talks the only way, so demand of your friends in...
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (10.21.10)
...Ramallah to talk, Ms. Clinton, as you and they agreed: directly and without preconditions!! Placing preconditions after the talks commenced, contrary to previously agreed terms of references is both unfair and improper and I would add, sinister! Do you, Ms. Clinton - with your team mate Obama - want to be viewed as unfair, improper and acting based on sinister and hostile attitude toward one of the parties, and that party is not the Arabs...??!!
7. to 4 sara b
kamilia ,   fankdoomeyyah   (10.21.10)
..yesterday an arabic eastern dancer was asked .. is eastern dancing ..halal or haram .. she laughed and said -- asked the sheihk ... dear sara are you here the dancer or the sheihk ?????????????
8. compromise and clinton
ed ,   reno, america   (10.21.10)
ms. clinton can talk compromise all she want but Israel is not her land and she has no right to tell the peole the only way of peace is compromise. these words are lies look at all the compromises that Israel has made in the past and you will see that after every one peace was not acheived, just more demands and more attacks. no compromise is not the answer.
9. What a Joke. The US only hinders peace
Johan Odin ,   Oslo, Norway   (10.21.10)
The lack of leadership by the Obama and Hillary is the biggest obstacle to peace, so the only solution is for the Palestinians to tell Israel's lackeys in the US to take a hike and move the matter instead to the UN, the ICJ and the international community at large. The US had its chance and failed once again, so it is time to move beyond US meddling and present the matter to the UN General Assembly.
10. no. 7
hebrew prophet ,   israel   (10.21.10)
Sorry Kamilia in a place no ones ever heard of could you translate you stupid gibberish into a meaningful point please, as we have no idea what you,re trying to say,try again ?
11. no.4
hebrew prophet ,   israel   (10.21.10)
Actually Sarah B the magic formula in case Hilary forgot ,is two states ,living side by side,in peace and prosperity ,according to the 1947 UN Partition plan ,so Jordan still is the Palestinian state and needs to be recognised as such ,even after 62 years of Arab intransigence and belligerence ,it,s time ?
12. Hill or Bill?
peter ,   a'dam NL   (10.21.10)
Monica Lewinski would've been able to get Arafat to sign a deal at Camp David in 2000. But Bill had to disavow her. Hill doesn't have it. You don't need a cigar to see that.
13. To: Hebrew Prophet at No. 11
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (10.21.10)
Exactly! Jordan IS the "Palestinian" state. So let's annex Judea and Samaria, repatriate its Arab residents to Jordan -- country of their citizenship, thanks to Jordan's Citizenship Law of 1954 which IRREVOCABLY made all Arabs living on the West Bank -- AND THEIR PROGENY -- citizens of Jordan. Let's get this show on the road! We have enough Arab terrorist rabble to deal with who live within Israel proper. We certainly do not need additional Arab cretins from the West Bank! By the way, Prophet, forget the 1947 UN Partition Plan. Israel accepted it; the Arabs did not. It is no longer on the table. Too bad for the Arabs. No use crying over spilt milk, although I must say that the "Palestinians" can whine and cry with the best of them ....
14. To: No. 7
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (10.21.10)
Well, being Jewish and Israeli, I'm part of the people in charge. You know? The ones who won all six wars started by the Arabs and the ones who have had to combat despicable Arab terrorism for nearly seventy years. Sorry. We have no enigmatic dancers and (thankfully) we have no sheikhs. If it's dancers and sheikhs you want, try any one of the 22 Arab states.
15. one way ticket
Birdi ,   Israel   (10.21.10)
Lets send Hilllary & Ehud Barack into the sunset together; both are tiresome & useless.
16. To: No. 9
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (10.21.10)
Okay. Can we also bring the matter of the Sami people before the United Nations? They've endured centuries of persecution at the hands of the Norwegian people. Why don't you clean up your own house before worrying about anyone else's?
17. to 10
