The Palestinians will always find an excuse for calling off the talks, They are extremely creative in that respect. We had a moratorium for 10 months ad no progress was made. The Palis are just too scared of peace.

I find it sad that only Arabs are building these new homes. I know several unemployed Jews who would work in construction, but are not given the jobs. Unfortunately this is one of the things wrong in Israel, that Arabs do work in many jobs that Jews would do, but a Jew cannot live on the salaries that the Arabs can.

I see your point. But, look, I am Jewish. Raised in the best Jewish values in the diapora. Raised my children and grandchildren talking about morality and respect for your neighbour. When they see Jews destroing schools, beating old people, burning trees, stealing land, vandalizing churches, I feel deeply responsible for having transmitted my values to my children. They think "this criminals in Israel are also Jews like us". So it is my duty to work in my little universe to rebuild Jewish values in their grand form. If Israelis dont change, if they insist in corrupting my religion, they must have a price to pay. They shall be discriminated and isolated, including and above all by Jews in the diaspora. Most people went to live in Judea and the Shomron for several reasons they are economic, yes afordable housing, idealistic, a better quality of life for example no polution or a mixture of two or three of the above reasons. They came with the blessing of previous governments even receiving tax breaks, which now finished a long while ago, they pay taxes, serve in the army and are loyal citizens to the state of Israel. Please do not keep refering to these brave citizens as settlers you fuel the left-wing media abroad and STOP refering to Judea and Samaria as the west bank, it is as much a part of Israel as the Sharon, Negev anf Galil. Without Judea and Samaria can you imagine what life would be like for the people of Kfar Saba, Petach Tikva, Netanya, Hod Hasharon, Afula, Modiin etc they would be living in shelters to hide from the missiles that would be fired at them from the place. Citiezens of Judea and Samaria should be treated like any other Israeli citizen with dignity.

But according to the article Israel built 1,900 homes in 2009, 2,100 homes in 2008. For the last 10 months there has been a building freeze. So in 2010 the number homes built, have been "0". So even if Israel completed all the homes the AP said Israel has started, that is only 550 homes in the year 2010. A decrease of approximately 75%. But that is not what the AP wrote, is it? They took the number of alleged housing starts...one that is questionable based on the article...and projected over the next 12 months. That is a statistical trick by the AP, classic Mark Twain. So here is the real story as should be written. In 2008 Israel built 2,100 homes in the West Bank, in 2009 Israel built 1,900 homes in the West Bank, In 2010 so far Israel has built ZERO homes, but has recently started 550 homes. That shows Israel is decreasing its building over the past 3 years. In the year 2010 Israel DECREASED it building by almost 75% since 2008. But that really isn't a sensational story that could be used to vilify Israel. So that's where Mark Twain comes in, get it. Again the AP bias is revealed. CASE CLOSED

I find the 'settlers' a very good name. They 'settle' the land given to them by their G'd. Of course they are genuine citizens of Israel and the most brave of all as well. They have my support. Am Yisrael Chai !!!
