1. Something I don't understand
Bannister ,   US   (10.22.10)
How come the record of the Iranian guy wasn't registered at the Guinness records? Did politics play a role in this too?? Never the less, I cant wait for the usual arrogant and hateful talk backs on this forum.
2. But if this was the other way round, would it be reported?
Peter ,   Vienna-Austria   (10.22.10)
27 games more than the iranian guy isn't all that much.
3. good job
m ,   jerusalem   (10.22.10)
but at least take a picture of him playing against an adult rather than a kid lol
4. Good work dude!!! That's a kind of war I would always sign!
John ,   Europe   (10.22.10)
5. There is noting that Iran is better from israeli people. lol
yaakov ,   usa   (10.22.10)
6. when Avigdor will take the lead, we will see how much Najed
yaakov ,   usa   (10.22.10)
is brave.
7. Bravo...Kol Hakavod and Nasdrovia Alik!
Mark ,   Lodz, Poland   (10.22.10)
Can't wait? Read your own post # 1 #2 Peter..You'd no doubt be cross-eyed after 520 chess games. Anyway, rather sour grapes from your side. No room to gloat with such a result, eh?
8. BRAVO ! Alik Gershon Israel is proud of you !
(10.22.10)
9. My Challenege to Peter (#2)
emanon ,   USA   (10.22.10)
If 27 games is not that much, let me see you play 27 games at the same time and win at least 20 of them. You'd actually need to win 21 to score the 80%, but I'll be generous. Before you start, I have trouble enough with one game and I don't think I've played even 500 games of chess in my life! My utmost respect for this accomplishment of 527 games at the same time.
10. Yes, Peter, it *would* be reported
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (10.22.10)
Peter (#2) writes, "But if this was the other way round, would it be reported?" No doubt it would. Recall last year's "hummus wars" between Israel and Lebanon, with each out to set a new record for largest plate of hummus. And yes, when Lebanon took back the record Israeli sites reported it - as they reported when Israel then took back the record. Israelis are a better sport than you give her credit. Then again, you never give Israel credit for anything.
11. Thank the Soviet chess school
Tomek ,   Poland   (10.22.10)
If it was not for the the Soviets, both Israel and the US would be just about average as far as chess is concerned. Gelfand, Kamsky, Onishchuk, etc. are all Soviet immigrants. With the exception of Nakamura in the US, neither country has any super-grandmaster home-grown talent. After playing ~500 chess games simulateneously, your brain turns into mashed potatoes. A scientific fact. I am sure Gershon could not remember his own name after he was done with the games.
12. Peter Wheat
Hal ,   Usa   (10.22.10)
Peter, the pathos of Vienna, is a sad little troll. Israel just bested his Iranian paradiso on brain power alone. OOOOOOh Peter, the Jews have a brain gene that gives them super powers!!!!!!!!!!! You pathetic moron, all you can do is post your sad bag efluvia [excrement] because in your illusionary world, the Jews [Israel] always lose or in your twisted capacity, will eventually lose, some day soon. Just you wait and see. Clown boy! Maybe your "friend" Mahmood can pick up your spirits?
13. So does that mean that Israel has wiped Iran off the board?
Truth Hertz ,   UK   (10.22.10)
14. No doubt the Iranian participants.....
Malone ,   Hfx   (10.23.10)
.....will be executed upon their return to Iran for an "un islamic" performance.
15. as usual..."Israel" fake war goes on !!
Salma ,   Palestine   (10.23.10)
16. #15 Make life not war, Salma
Cynthia ,   USA   (10.23.10)
Alik Gershon rocks! Time for the Palestinians to find a hobby other than whining and threatening Israel.
17. nerd.
