For years the Vatican refused to open an embassy in Israel for fear of the consequences on the fate of the christians in Muslim countries many of which barely tolerate them when they do not persecute them. As radical Islams gains ground Christians' insecurity worsens as can be seen in Irak, Gaza... the bishops feel compeled to try protecting their flock. But instead of blaming the root cause of the problem, on which they know they have no leverage, they find it easier to slam Israel in the hope it will gain them a few browny points of PR with the Muslim world. The bishops go as far as stating that they condemn terrorism "from wherever it may proceed" as if in this matter, radical Islam terrorism is on the same plane as the implied Israeli terrorism so as not to hurt the "sensitivities" of the radicals & it gives them an indirect justification for their deeds as a retaliation in "self defense". The bishops are deluding themselves if they believe that their words will have any effect on the retrograde obscurantists in the growing ranks of radical Islam.

The Pope and his bishops should start meditating on what the Bible says. The Pope and the Vatican are not above יהוה, for it is Yahuwshua that holds the keys and not the Pope (Revelations 1:17 – 1:18, 3:7). Jeremiah chapter 31 states that יהוה is going to rebuild Israel and vines shall be planted in the mountains of Samaria. Jeremiah 31:10 “Hear the word of יהוה, O gentiles, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, ‘He who scattered Israel gathers him, and shall guard him as a shepherd his flock.’ If the Vatican wishes to align with the Arabs then they are going against the Word of YHWH. The Pope is not infallible for he is just a mere man, and just like Peter erred and Paul had to withstand him to his face (Galatians 2:11) the true Christians will withstand the Pope when he errs. Who is Pope or his Synod to talk against the basic biblical fact? It is definitely another end-time sign. Everyone is against Israel. But the Bible says although the entire world comes against it, he will deliver Jerusalem and Judah from them. Catholicism is large in membership of adherents.
