1. For those who were still in doubt
CJ   (10.25.10)
This is the face of Turkey and the faces of the 'peace activists' - Jihad, terror, death. Turkey supports the Islamists and their terror and has nothing to do with 'aid', delegitimation of the state of Israel. Shame on you Turkey, you owe Israel an apology for your actions and lies. You can't escape the proofs and the thruth.
2. "peace activists" = terrorists
straight and to ,   the point   (10.25.10)
straight and to the point from this article.
3. It's all semantics
Justaguy ,   CA, USA   (10.25.10)
Definition #1 - militant terrorist Definition #2 - peace activist Great picture and great title for this article. Clears up any honest confusion over what the Palestinian leaders mean when they say they want peace.
4. Europe and many americans ignores the truth

Mike ,   Jamaica   (10.26.10)
How about that?? The world will still be blind. Salma and the others...what do you have to say now?? Good night lets hope they won't get up in the morning
6. Here's the problem:
R ,   Israel   (10.26.10)
We have known that they are not peace activists for a long time. It doesn't matter. Their PR makes ours look like a tricycle compared to a Ferrari. They do not face the hurdles of verifying facts before publishing. They even create their own with the help of Reuters, etc., as we've all seen.
7. The traitor Zoabi is probably jealous...
Cynic ,   USA   (10.26.10)
that she did not make it into Gaza to pose with the IJ terrorists
8. I stand corrected
T.F ,   EU   (10.26.10)
And I truly thought they were peace activists. Obviously just a bunch of racist AK party hooligans bent on brining war to the Middle East. (They failed with that mission as well) The Turkish people do not have the same view as the Turkish Government, as this sort of Turkish State terror is not good for business.
9. Anybody Remember Turkish Rule in Gaza?
Frankie Littlehammer ,   New Herstal, TX, USA   (10.26.10)
Would there be anybody alive in Gaza that remembers the glorious Turkish rule that ended in 1917? Do Turks dream of returning to rule their empire, from present-day Saudi to present-day Algeria (ca. 1550-1917), like the Arabs dream of returning to rule Spain like they did ca. 700-1492? Did Arabs ever complain about Turkish rule? The saying goeth 'Better a bad Muslim ruler than a good Christian ruler.' Maybe peace would break out if Netanyahu, Barak and Lieberman converted to Islam.
10. WE CAN'T IGNORE THE AXES OF EVIL
AMERICAN ,   Los Angeles   (10.26.10)
Turkey is openly threatening Israel by supporting islamic terrorist organizations.Open support for Iran and other islamo-fascist states apparently aims at provocing a conflict with Israel.Erdogans tactics to win the elections.

Its a load of bull israel knew what it did was wrong at least admit it. trust me u will get away with it again no matter what condemnation the international community bestowes upon u
16. Abu Dabous. Rahat, Israel
Steve Goodman ,   Israel   (10.26.10)
I have worked with quite a few muslims from the Bedouin communities in the Negev. Every Israeli Bedouin from teenagers up, knows that entering Gaza from any direction LAND or SEA is a violation of Israeli law....Abu is a LIAR.
17. # 15
Birdi ,   Israel   (10.26.10)
There is nothing you can say against Israel because these pictures are the truth & are showing the true colours of the "activists" = terrorists, trouble makers & lairs.
18. This was a seriously dumb photo-op....
Mark ,   Lodz, Poland   (10.26.10)
For those of you who still harbour doubts about the intentions of the "peace activists'' on the Mavi Marmara. Here above...you have your answer.
19. Are they Turks???
Turk ,   Ankara   (10.26.10)
Has Ynet implemented an ethnicity search on these so-called peace activists? Why are you so sure that these are Turks? Most IHH members are Kurds and Kafkas originated people like Georgian, Chechen, Circussian, Abhazians. Most Islamists in Turkey are non-Turkish minorities who identify themselves as Muslims but not as Turks. Those Islamists may be citizens of Turkey but they are not Turks culturally, traditionally and ethnically. PM Erdogan is Georgian, and President Abdulah Gul is Arab-Armenian, even they never call themselves as Turk. Call them AKP, Islamists, radical Muslims etc, but not Turks.
20. To #19- so called "Turk"
Ibrahim ,   Ankara   (10.26.10)
You can deny it as much as you want but the reality is that Turks are muslims. Islam is not something one should be ashamed of! Petro-cashed money motivated individuals that use Islam as a vehicle for personal gain and ambition are the ones that should be ashamed. Kurds, Asyrians, Armenians, Jews etc that live in Turkey and are citizens of Turkey are TURKS. Back to the topic: Where was Israel when MOSSAD agents were training PKK terrorists? I still don't believe that all onboard the Mavi Marmarra were barbaric terrorists. E.g. Baby faced US born and Private College educated teens whose parents are progressive and liberal American University professors can hardly be classified as terrorists.
21. #20 When did anyone here use the word "everyone"?
Roman ,   Lod, Israel   (10.26.10)
When did any Israeli official say that everyone on board the Mavi Marmarra were violent? There were simply enough of them that were. The problem was that there was only one truly organized and prepared group on board that vessel, and it wasn't the band of baby-faced pacifists with a political message. They and their promises of no violence were pushed aside rather quickly by those who *did* have violence in mind, and had prepared for it. You know what I find more ludicrous? The claims that a bunch of Israeli commandos armed with silly paintball rifles went on board the Mavi Marmarra to commit a massacre. A paintball massacre, indeed. Or was it all part of a nefarious plot, with the commandos going out there to show the world how well they can use their backup pistols? I mean, seriously, these are navy commandos we're talking about here - you don't send out such people with paintball guns if you have a violent intention.

Anon ,   Ankara   (10.26.10)
Obviously, you have understanding problems. You say: "You can deny it as much as you want but the reality is that Turks are muslims." Who is denying what? There is not even a reference about your claim in my post. I'm talking about Islamists. Do you consider Islamists and Muslims as the same thing?! Also, who gave you the right to say 'Turks are Muslims'? When have you implemented a research including all millions of Turks in Turkiye, Greece, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, former USSR republics, USA, Australia etc...Have you asked every single Turks all over the world about their religion or belief? You are patronising all Turks about being Muslim. You can argue that most Turks are Muslims as Republic of Turkey, unfortunately, expresses religion in ID cards without even asking citizens' permission. But you can't say all Turks are Muslim, Christian, this or that. Any citizen of Republic of Turkiye is a Turk legally, and if they feel a Turk culturally and traditionally they are Turks of course. But, those Islamists, terrorists, etc are not culturally and traditionally Turks. Just like PKK's Ocalan is a Turkish citizen but not a Turk culturally and traditionally.

24. Where was Israel when MOSSAD agents were training PKK terror
Sarah ,   Jerusalem Israel   (10.28.10)
That's not the subject but since you've brought it up: FREE KURDISTAN!! You want to aid and abet the terrorists firing missiles at our civilian communities and raining death on our cities? Remember that we can return the compliment. What do you think the PKK could do with rocket launchers, mortars, advanced artillery and Grad missiles like those that are being smuggled into Gaza by terrorist aiders and abettors? And to answer your other question: ANYONE who aids Hamas's declared program of genocide and practice of attacking civilian communities is a terrorist--I don't care if you're singing "Kumbaya" on a wanna-be gun-runner ship or if you're an Islamist Turk posing with an AK-47. You're all murdering scum.
