1. Hopefully ....
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (10.26.10)
this law passes. I would like Mordechai Vanunu and Anat Kam to be the first two people stripped of Israeli citizenship under the espionage clause. We can start on "Palestinian" terrorists immediately thereafter.
2. Pass the law & apply equally left and right!
(10.26.10)
In other words let's go after Vanunu and Kam....but let's not forget about murderers Yigal Amir and Baruch Goldstein or spies: Avraham Marcus Klingberg (Nes Ziona research institute spy -sold secrets to the Russians) and Jonathan Pollard, etc etc there are many others and of course then we would need to include MKs such as Bashara and the female MK who was on the Mavi Marmara. and also former PM Olmert, current FM Liberman etc etc ad nauseum In other words the fair application of this type of law would surely empty out the country of most of its noblest citizens! Really the insecure right wing government and Knesset needs to give these loyalty laws a rest already!
3. To # 2 with no name
Ricardo Macher ,   Karnei Shomron IL   (10.26.10)
If you want to be taken serious, please do your homework BEFORE writing! Jonathan Pollard was working FOR Israel and not against. Baruch Goldstein is dead!
4. McCarthyism alive and well in Israel
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (10.26.10)
...right wing nut jobs are running the asylum now. Soon everyone on the left will be suspect, monitored, followed, and arrested.
5. An excellent idea & about time.
Terry ,   Eilat - Israel   (10.26.10)
But, don't let Court decide because they won't - our leftist court is almost as bad as the people they will have to judge. Let the Knesset appoint a committee. Maybe there's hope for us yet!
6. #2: You're way ahead of yourself. Read
Robert Haymond ,   Israel/Canada   (10.26.10)
the article more carefully. This bill relates only to traitors, not criminals. There is a profound difference Al=Sana tries to muddy the waters in order to subvert the bill's intent. Under any circumstances, the bill itself, properly understood, makes sense. Glad it's being considered.
7. Common sense
BH ,   Iowa   (10.26.10)
and long overdue.
8. Nice to see MKs setting such a fine example
vernon marriott ,   Tel Aviv   (10.26.10)
To their fellow citizens, children etc. To stand for the Knesset, potential MKs should have some pass some kind of civilisation test. Clearly, judging by the standards of "debate" some of them represent the missing link between apes and man.
9. "revoke citizenshp or permanent resident" - and what then ?
eporue ,   europe   (10.26.10)
where are those people sent to ? they cant stay in israel, and dont have a passport to be put onto a plane to somewhere... ?
10. Terry r u related to the late US Senator McCarthy?
(10.26.10)
11. Glad that you are glad with the racist bill!
dave ,   US   (10.26.10)
12. #3 Pollard acted against the interests of Israel
(10.26.10)
because otherwise the embassy would have taken him in!

This has nothing to do with race.
