Find some other way to get rid of them !!!

First, since people have come into Israel withouth authorization and afterward detonated explosive vests, I am _shocked_ that Israel would even allow itself a problem with illegal immigrants. That is deeply troubling. Second, either they are refugees or they are not. If not, then you don't have to pay money under the table to deport them, just do it. But if they are, then feed/shelter/clothe them, it's your responsibility to HaShem who gave you refugees to care for. Third, and the real reason for this post, are you making any effort to convert your guests? Perhaps HaShem brought you penniless outcasts because He wants you to bring them into the family of Israel (and don't dare look down on penniless outcasts, considering that many of us were exactly that after being liberated from the camps after WWII). If you tell them what it is like to be a Jew (the good and the bad) and what they must do to become - and to live as - a Jew, you might be surprised to now have many more in the family of Israel. Refugees and migrants are not a burden, they are an opportunity.

If they cannot be immediately deported, they should be placed in UNHCR refugee camps. Actually, placing them in UN camps would be more effective because if you return them across the border, they will simply try again. Some similar happens in some American states, where there is increased pressure to give prison sentences to those who cross the border illegally. Returning them to Mexico just results in them trying again the next day. Place all "refugees" in UNHCR camps and hand over responsibility for their upkeep and resettlement to the United Nations. Any other act will backfire on Israel.

No matter what the reasons may be for the illegal immigrants coming here, the fact is that Israel is only the homeland of the Jewish people and that we have neither the responsibility, land, territory, money or the resources to take care of the entire world's problems. We exist to serve ourselves and not others. So what to do? Simple. Do what the Americans are doing to the Mexicans - fire at them and kick them out. And warn all countries that illegal immigrants and/or people or individuals trying to cross the Israeli border will be shot on the spot - and this all African and Asian countries should know.

Omri, the answer is probably because the Almighty is drawing them. In Joel, chapter 3, we see that HaShem will draw all nations to fight against Israel (actually against Him, and more accurately, to be judged by HIM). They won't be saying - "I want to go to Israel and fight against the Most High and suffer the judgment thereof." They will have what they think are good reasons or excuses. Likewise, the migrants and refugees (2 similar but different peoples) are probably not saying "I have no people; I want to be part of the children of Israel and serve the Most High." They probably have reasons or excuses. But maybe HaShem is drawing them to find out what the Jews are like ... and to join them in serving the Almighty.

Plenty of room for the illegals in the unauthorized outpost settlements if Israel withdraws the fundamentalist settlers back to the main blocks.

1200 a month has potential to create a huge demographic imbalance in a country the size of Israel especially one which wants to protect a jewish majority. Even if we can get past the legal process and countries agree to take them then we have the Knesset & immigrant rights to get passed. An attempt to deport 1200 illegals who were not refugees the immigrant rights groups and later Knesset turned it into an issue all about cute little chldren and it ended up taking over a year to agree on some kind of guidlines and the left are still up in arms because we plan to deport 400 out of the 1200. If we want to get rid of any of this lot most of whom claim to be refugees even if they are not people like immigrants rights groups will find a way to stop the government. Either drag chilren or the Holocaust into it. We need to do something to control all these people who claim to be refugees and the non refugee foreign laborers with or without cute little children. It will of course get us into more trouble with the UN, Europe & probably the Obama regime but we must put Israel's interests first. When Egypt finds these people crossing through its territory soldiers shoot them on orders. We either do something about this or we will be seen as a soft touch for anybody seeking a better life and Israel will be flooded by refugges and non refugees alike and we will have to spend money to house them etc. Its also going to have a huge impact on the jewish demographics and the schools will be pushed to breaking point with all the children of non Israelis. Time for more tough and contrvertial decisions and less compassion.
