nahum   (10.30.10)
My son (2 yrs old) climbed to me as I was reading this new, and asked "What's that?" "It's a soccerfield, honey. These kids are playing soccer. Maybe one day you will be playing soccer there" "I like it. Nice". Shavua tov. With hope.
2. Soccer for peace
Maxime Levy ,   Portland, USA   (10.31.10)
Let's play soccer for prosperity and lasting peace between Arabs and Jews. Let's get the ball rolling amigos.
3. Joyeux Noël
Adam Neira ,   Melb, Australia   (10.31.10)
This is a brilliant microcosmic spark. Hebron is the site of the Tomb of the Patriachs. All three great monotheistic religions believe in the importance of Abraham. Such foundations of trust must be built on, pronto ! This is reminiscent of the peace truce soccer game that was organised between the trenches of the Western Front on Christmas Day of 1914. (See the excellent French film "Joyeux Noël".)
4. 10K Jews
Lili ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (10.31.10)
I guess 10,000 Jews in Hebron make all the difference. May be we should try that on permanent basis as a long-term solution for the Mideast peace problem?

8. PEACE
Jew ,   USA   (10.31.10)
It's simple. Just remove the terrorists from power in the Palestinian society and peace happens on its own. Most Palestinians would be happy live alongside Jews. Its the terrorist ones who are cowing the rest of Palestinian population into the futile path of "resistance." Ironically, yes, before Oslo there was peace. If any Palestinian is reading this tell me this is not true.
9. 10,000 People by Ynet story - 25,000 by INN arutz-sheva ?

Hebron was given almost entirely to arabs. Have YOU seen any peace for the land that was abandoned to terrorists?
11. Let's hope
SL ,   NY   (10.31.10)
Since the Palestinian Arabs severely torture and often kill suspected 'collaborators,' let's hope the Arab boys who joined in this game of soccer will not be beaten or worse.
