freda ,   israel   (11.02.10)
no Jew for ever more should forget. We shall tell our children and grandchildren until the end of time. AND we shall be on guard always or "he who ignores history, may end up reliving it "(plaque in Aushwitz-Birkenau)
3. I can assure you all
Sagi   (11.02.10)
that the world will forget. Jews and Israel may not forget but the world could not give a damn. Individuals there are many who will not forget, those who study history and those who are genuine human beings, but they are individuaals, not nations. I have lived a long time in this world and "bleeding hearts" are few and far between. In general people do not care about the misfortune of others. That is life.

will also exist, it can not be undone, it will last UNTIL ETERNITY...
6. Only 2 Survivors
Nili   (11.02.10)
The world is fast turning towards a mindset that wants to erase the past and create something new. Just read the news. For the sake of those who suffered unspeakable horror, we as Jews, must forever remember and stand up against those who would re-write history.
7. survivors-there is a lady who is 106 yrs old
hatred brings hatred   (11.02.10)

8. U.N condemmed Israel for arresting Eichmann
Dan Kelso   (11.02.10)
Alot of people forget this, but when Israel arrested Eichmann in 1960, the U.N and all the Arab states condemmed Israel. The U.N demanded that Israel send Eichmann back to Argentina. I know this sounds like insanity, but this did happen. The U.N said it was against International law to kidnap Eichmann from Argentina and demanded Israel send him back there. This is the sicko world where dealing with.
9. never forget=never forgive-damn right!

if your family was lost in this way and if you personally would have suffered what these jews suffered on your own skin, YOU will never be able to forgive or forget also. it's easy for you to judge, the big hero and "compassionate" individual that you are. but I LOST MY ENTIRE FAMILY THERE AND I COULD NEVER FORGIVE THOSE THAT HAVE DONE THIS TO THE JEWISH PEOPLE. BARK UP A WRONG TREE, MY FRIEND. IZZIE ELIAS AMSTERDAM
11. Two Israeli survivors but a few more worldwide
Judah ,   Golan Heights,ISRAEL   (11.02.10)
At the Demanjanuk trial in Germany there was other Treblinka survivors testifying. Yet they came from the diaspora.

Of course it was against international law to bring Eichmann to justice. I have yet to learn of an "international law" that doesn't seem like it was specifically created to protect fascists or deny the rights of Jews (and Kurds and Africans living under Arab rule).
13. ..all Israel's Prophets...
JJ ,   NZ   (11.02.10)
...gave Israel G-d's warning of this and other terrible periods of persecution in captivity..the Prophets also declared that G-d's Right Arm would bring Salvation! Isaiah 53

OK, Israel was condemmed for kidnapping that bastard Eichman, but Israel didnt listen. Israel went ahead & put him on trial & killed him. Thats the most important fact we can learn from this story.

For what its worth, I am on my way to Germany, to the small birth-town of my late father. For remembrance services for Crystal Nacht, which takes place yearly on 9.November.

The story of the Hell known as Treblinka must be told and passed down through the generations. Everyone has heard of Auschwitz, but some people never have heard of Treblinka. Why? Because there are so few Treblinka survivors to tell their story. This makes it all the more important to chronicle the testimony of the few Treblinka survivors. I got very choked up reading this article, but thank you Ynet for publishing it.

This story is so important. These two surviving men witnessed the worst of mankind. What saddens me most is that at this moment there are still miscreants in the world who want Jewish people exterminated how can that be?

If one likes to read (as I do!), there is a book by Leon Uris called "Mila 18" depicting the courageous revolt and uprising of the Warsaw Ghetto. This book describes in details the testimonies of prisoners that escaped Treblinka, a camp made infamous by its destruction of our People. This was not a concentration camp anymore but rather as a "transformation camp" where all kinds of things were made from humans, from mattresses to lampshades to soap!
