1. who needs Oslo benefits ?!!
Salma ,   Palestine   (11.04.10)
It is true that many of the PA leaders are corrupt, but it's also true that there is no difference between THE ONE WHO BRIBE AND THE ONE WHO TAKE IT.
2. whats Good for the Goose
Dav Lev ,   Burbank.CAUSA   (11.04.10)
Didnot a PA official recently threaten to abrogate all arrangements made (Oslo)with Israel..if Israel didn't change its policies which would allow Abbas to resume direct talks? Assuming this PA leader was guaranteed traveling in a car..and the PA goes back on its agreements..well, you get the point. I am sure, he now knows that Israel can still do what it wants..threats to the UN notwithstanding.
3. to #1 the IDF put an end to bribing
ghostq   (11.04.10)
there is alot of difference, that is the whole reason for the article. anyway, this is the tip of the Iceberg, do you even know what your leaders r doing? guess not.
4. Ah! "only democracy" in middleast
trippen ,   usa   (11.04.10)
5. Threaten violence and become a security risk
Eric ,   Tel Aviv & NY   (11.04.10)
What is not understood here? If you threaten violence against Israel then you become a security risk. What did he expect? Threats to be met with hugs?
6. #1 Wrong again Salma.
Jay3 ,   Israel   (11.04.10)
Your logic is deeply flawed. There is a big difference if the one that bribes, only does so for good intentions. But there cant be good intentions for anyone that takes a bribe. Im not saying that all Israeli politicians are not corrupt, but the Palestinian problems cant be blamed on them. You guys will never take responsibility for your own actions, and keep blaming Israel or the Jews!

13. #6 "bribes only for good intentions." ,plz explain it to me
Salma ,   Palestine   (11.04.10)
there is no good or bad bribery . Even bribes paid by the Jews to the "civilized world" for "Israel" ,are bad for you and us.
14. dig your tunnel and go away

18. "Leaders"?
Ezra ,   Florida   (11.04.10)
Ynet: You are simply leftist cowards, because you never publish anything I write that, in your warped opinion, is inflamatory For the umpteenth time: You cannot be a PRIME MINSTER of a non-existant country that NEVER WAS and NEVER WILL BE When the SO CALLED palestinians, behave civilly and stop their TERRORISM against Israel,("That will be the day") things will fall into places and maybe, just maybe, they will gain the trust of Israelis, nationwide, and can really talk about something significant. But meanwhile STOP THE PALESTINIAN TERRORISM and then complain about disrespect and mistreatment of your "leaders" em, "prime minster"
19. to # 9 and #11 silly fools
Arn ,   Yehud   (11.04.10)
Nuances of great humor which "Rashid" excels at, seem to be beyond your comprehension. You remind me of the horses who wore blinkers so they could never see an inch to the right or left of their noses.
20. ALL Terror Leaders get what they have coming
David P. ,   Capitola, CA   (11.04.10)

If you rattle a snake be prepared to bitten by it, after talking alot of rubbish Qureia still wants favours from Israel! wonders will never cease.
22. Re #4
Andrew Brehm   (11.04.10)
Is there something in the definition of "democracy" that demands that you have to allow your enemies to drive in cars rather than use busses? I am a bit surprised that Palestinian leaders even refer to privileges they allegedly get in the Oslo treaty given that they broke that treaty ten years ago with the "second intifada".
23. There is NO such thing as "palestinians"
Jordan = Fakestan   (11.04.10)
on March 31, 1977, the Dutch newspaper Trouw published an interview with Palestine Liberation Organization executive committee member Zahir Muhsein. Here's what he said: The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct "Palestinian people" to oppose Zionism. For tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa, while as a Palestinian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem. However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan.
24. Arafat imprisoned after Camp David
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (11.04.10)

25. To: Everybody
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.04.10)
Rashid, Palistinian is a breath of fresh air on these fora. His name is not Rashid, and he is about as Palestinian as I am (which is to say, not very). I am pretty certain that he is Jewish, and reasonably certain that he is a Brit.
26. Blame Abbas & his pre conditions
zionist forever   (11.04.10)
Abbas wants to play hardball and keep making demands as a condition of honouring us with his presence at talks to discuss the creation of the state he wants so bad then fine Israel can make things difficult for his people as well. If Abbas wants to talk no strings attached then Bibi will be able to get his coalition partners on board and I am sure there will be more goodwill and palestinian politicians will hve freedom to travel. Abbas should also be warned though that if he tries to go it alone and get his state via the UN Its probably not just going to be politician that have travel problems. Israel would probably refuse them any kid of corridor through Israel making flying the only way to get between one half of their state to the other and the best bit is it would be legal under international law. So be warned Mr Abbas you try and talk tough you will suffer in the end.
27. punishment
moshen   (11.04.10)
palestinians are not palestinians,=. They are syrians, lebanese, jordanians, saudis and egyptians who moved over when jews moved back. This they did to gain work and money and food. they are not a people with a national direction. Otherwise, they would long ago have set up a state. No, they are now imbued with a destroy israel drive with no other objective. After they destroy israel, jordan will be next. After that, the golan and part of lebanon. Then, maybe they will seek part of sinai. And on it goes. Aside from the druse and some bedouin, the best solution is to separate the tribes, all of the arabs save the druse and bedouin go jordan, and israel remains for the jews.
28. to no 24-you are wrong

30. To: Andrew Brehm at No. 22
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.04.10)
"I am a bit surprised that Palestinian leaders even refer to privileges they allegedly get in the Oslo treaty given that they broke that treaty ten years ago with the 'second intifada'." Don't confuse the poster at No. 4 with facts that are clearly beyond his or her ability to grasp. Although I am grateful to you for raising the point. Lost in all the blather is the fact that Arafat (may his name be cursed throughout eternity) REJECTED the Oslo Accords (which would have awarded him 90% of the West Bank and East Jerusalem as a capital) and started the Second Intifada. Just another in a long, long list of "Palestinian" severe errors in judgment, gross miscalculations and some really stupid mistakes. Which doesn't absolve them from having to live with the consequences of their choices -- they've had more than enough bites at the apple .... Again, thanks for raising the point about "Palestinian" rejection of the Oslo Accords.
