2. Iran effectively cancels nuclear talks
Eric ,   Tel Aviv & NY   (11.10.10)
As Iran's failure to comply with the NPT, and its refusal to explain several apparent breaches mean that Iran has effectively cancels nuclear talks with the 5+1
3. One Thousand and One Nights
Eran ,   Singapore   (11.10.10)
In this meeting, Iran will surely discuss the 1001 nights stories,"Kitāb 'alf layla wa-layla". Particularly "Aladdin's Wonderful Lamp", "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves" and "The Seven Voyages of Sinbad the Sailor" . European Union Foreign Affairs Chief Catherine Ashton is surely looking forward enjoying this.
4. Talks -- yeah, right
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.10.10)
"Ahmadinejad said Iran had always been in favor of talks held on a rational and logical basis ..." How can an irrational and illogical regime hold talks on a "rational and logical basis?" The conference should be canceled. Why give the Iranians a chance to turn this into a gigantic gorilla-chest-beating affair? Don't give them grist for their propaganda mill. Cancel the talks, and let the chips fall where they may. Let the Iranians scramble to fill all the newspaper space that has been reserved for purposes of trumpeting their "great victory" over the West. As with any spoiled child -- ignore their tantrum. Sooner or later, they will stop, and will slink off to bed -- without any supper.
5. Was there anything else to talk about? LOL

Dont Worry Be Happy ,   UK   (11.10.10)
It is widely believed that Ahmadinejad is planning to announce Nuclear Talks ONLY once they have test detonated a nuclear bomb - which he calculates would trigger the world to come running to kiss his feet Hence the stalling..they are very close to nuclear detonation..despite constant technical setbacks Mmm - But could this be Ahmadinejads last Hurrah....with the world not running to kiss his feet but falling over themselves to destroy this evil genie before it destroys the world Because such a move which to all intents and purposes is certain would prove beyond doubt that Ahmadinejad could NEVER be trusted And for some countries like China, India Russia Brasil and even Turkey - to them this would be seen as a profound betrayal of trust and leave Ahmadinejad totally isolated with no friends
7. The Beast from the East
Marcel ,   Florida   (11.10.10)
Waiting for the usless international community to do anything about Iran has been a major mistake. Iran perseveres in it's goal of erasing Israel and nothing will stop the mad Muslim except for an equally determined Israel. Playing the same losing hand Israel failed to defeat Iran's proxies Hezbollah and Hamas to please worthless Washington and not endanger the fakepeace process. Israel ,it is time to drop the losing hand and replace it with The Never Again hand. Your sacrifices for the peace have been met with jihadist escalation. They only want your extermination and not peace.
8. Ah, but he's not building apartments in Jeruslaem
Paul Freedman ,   Falls Church, USA   (11.10.10)
That would be unforgivable.
9. PROOF POSITIVE
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (11.10.10)
What Senator Lindsey Graham of the Republican party after last Tuesday electoral win stated was Iran needed to be neutered. Several days later BiBi stated Iran would only respond if there was a credible military threat against Iran. Both have been proved correct. Sadly the fact is Iran will do what it pleases until they see there is a terrible cost, or price to pay for their actions. What would that cost be? Does anybody think Iran will respond to tough talk? Or UN sanctions? Again Ahmadinejad tries to draw Israel into the equation. But it is a false claim. Israel has possessed nukes for last 30 years and nobody in the world...with the exception of Israel's enemies...have worried about it. Why? Because Israel is perceived as a good steward and a rational country. Therefore the international community has never been worried that Israel would use these weapons or give them to terrorists. But lets face the truth, countries like Iran that support terrorism cannot be trusted with nukes. Remember it is Muslims that consider it a weakness that Israel puts such value on human life. The fact that Muslims will kill themselves along with as many innocent people as they can is glorified. That is why the world is worried, nukes falling into the hands of maniacs worries the world and it should. Will the international community be able to summon the will, that is the question?
10. So there you have it
Ken ,   Australia   (11.10.10)
I told you so, this should now be the iceing on the cake, This monkey aMADinajad, has taken his final step, there is no way on this earth that they will back down from there bomb makeing ambition. SO what does it mean exactly, they want more concessions or do they want to exert preasure on the west un-pecedented, you cant understand the mentality of the mullahs puppet aMADinajad, All he is is a puppet for the regime, whilst Vahdi and its buddies are timeing the bomb makeing process, when this occurs they will point it at Israel. So as I have said before the time is ticking and its time to stick the clock up aMADinajads behind with a strike ultimatum, they dont threaten us catch cry is a load of bull dust ,so its time its time to destroy there plants once and for all, but please, in the middle of all of it please remove the monkey that started all of it aMADinajad, please shut this monkey up for the last time , this idiot thinks he will be able to threaten the entire jewish nation with another holocaust just 60 years after the last one , the jewish people should never be threatened like this ever again, so its time to stop the madness by the iranians, its time to put them out of business.
11. Iran should have a nuclear deterrent
Robert ,   Brisbane, Australia   (11.10.10)
"Because Israel is perceived as a good steward and a rational country" You are kidding yourself. Israel is perceived as only marginally more rational and in many aspects as irrational as Iran. To attack Iran, as people like you evidently want, because of something Ahmadinejad said and interpreted in a way that was convenient, is as irrational as it gets.
12. Questions for Robert
Jonny   (11.10.10)
You appear to be missing the point. Is Iran more likely to use nukes against Israel and/or the West than the other way around? If you think not, what gives you the right, sitting at the far end of the globe ,to criticise those in the firing line? If yes, what exactly is your complaint?
13. Something must be done
ya'akov ,   raleigh, USA   (11.10.10)
It is absurd that people can not see A-monkey-jad's tactics through all these years. He puts out a soundbite every day or so, either to say how evil the west is, or to make a useless claim about his nuclear program. One day he will cooperate, the next day he will NOT cooperate, the next day he agreees to export uranium to be enriched, the next day he opposes what he says yesterday, and on and on and on. AND in the meanwhile, his scientists and nuke crew are working around the clock, never stopping their objective. Ah-monkey-jad's soundbites are a front merely meant to distract and to buy his scientists more time, to continue their deadly work unabated. Why does anyone even give Monkey-jad a piece of attention anymore? Destroy his plants, and forget about it.
14. Nothing new
IRAN#1   (11.11.10)
Iran has always maintianed that they will not give up their rights under NPT to enrich uanium. They want to talk but on first item on the agenda is the Israeli nuclear program and the way p5+1 is seeing the threat of Israeli nukes as far as the middle east and the workd are concerned. iran wants to help bring peace to the region with the help p5+1.
15. Belgians show that tey are wankers again
