1. German security concerns
hebrew prophet ,   israel   (11.17.10)
How ironic the German situation of Turkish Muslim guestworkers being permitted to stay in the country after their work visas have expired and now Muslim terror has the country in a hold ,all this after peaceful educated Jews were exterminated in their hundreds of thousands only 60 years ago ,a case of getting what one deserves in Germany ?
2. German Companies had no fear of doing business with Iran!
MM ,   Jerusalem   (11.17.10)
and now (please G-d no!) they may be facing possible attacks in Germany - This is truly unfortunate. Thing is the German government should have stopped private German corporations from doing business with Iran in the areas of natural gas, petrol (gasoline) sales, and nuclear plant construction...what did the governments think...that if they assisted Iran they would have "industrial quiet"? Didn't anyone warn them that "if you sleep with street dogs you get fleas"?
3. #1 your numbers are way off!
(11.17.10)
6 million Jews were murdered by the Nazi Extermination teams and please do remember that another 6 million - gypsies, mentally ill, and other Nazi "undesirables" werer also murdered. That would be 12 million people which is a very far cry from what you write: "all this after peaceful educated Jews were exterminated in their hundreds of thousands only 60 years ago"
4. yaaawn
Fluffi ,   Germany   (11.17.10)
Islamic terrorism hasn't killed one single person on German soil. Why is that? I have only two answers: a) there simply are no terrorrists and it's all a big lie, or b) there are terrorists, but these guys are completely incompetent. I don't care whether a) or b) is right, but both answers make me fall immediately asleep everytime I hear a 'terror warning'.
5. Fluffi wake up - what of Munich 1972 Olympics?
Israela ,   Jerusalem   (11.17.10)
If this one doesn't count then you are saying one of two things: 1. Munich isn't in Germany or 2. Israeli Sportsmen aren't people So did you want to rethink your position? or did you want to share which it is that you are saying 1 or 2 above?
6. Fluffi: Closing one's eyes to disaster
Robert Haymond ,   Israel/Canada   (11.17.10)
is a very Canadian habit, one which doesn't suit you in Germany as you must know. As a reminder, consider the frightful works produced by terrorists in the UK (subway in London) and consider whether Germany is immune. A rightwing party has already arisen in defence of your homeland due to the real insurgence of your internal Muslim population. Are you aware of this?
7. To @ 4 Fluffi. Never happened?
Lengualima ,   I   (11.17.10)
"The Berlin discotheque bombing of April 5, 1986 was a terrorist attack on the La Belle discotheque, West Berlin, Germany, that was frequented by U.S. soldiers. A bomb placed under a table near the DJ booth exploded at the club, killing a Turkish woman and two U.S. sergeants and injuring 230 people, including more than 50 American servicemen. Nermin Hannay and Kenneth T. Ford were killed instantly. and James E. Goins died two months later. Of the injured victims, some were permanently disabled.[1]" that have not occurred in Germany horrible attacks like Madrid or London, does not mean it can not happen. more than once the German authorities have broken up terrorist groups with the full intention of doing so. The desire of Muslim radicalism is not only Germany but all countries that one way or another not to crush their bloody ideology.
8. #3 The numbers were correct
Andrew Brehm   (11.17.10)
It was six million Jews in total, but the number of strictly German Jews was in the hundreds of thousands, as he said.
9. #7 Munich Olympic massacre doesn't count?
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (11.17.10)
10. #8 agreed with you but that's not what #1 wrote:
(11.17.10)
he wrote: (and I am copy pasting here): "all this after peaceful educated Jews were exterminated in their hundreds of thousands only 60 years ago" see Andrew he didn't write "strictly peaceful educated German Jews" he wrote: "peaceful educated Jews" therefore I wrote what I wrote in #3
11. #5 Israela, #7 Lengualima
Fluffi ,   Germany   (11.17.10)
You are right - my fault. Since La Belle aeons have passed and Munich happened even before I was born, so I didn't thought about them. I was actually referring to 'modern' Islamic terrorism from the Al-Qaeda-type.
12. #6, Robert
Fluffi ,   Germany   (11.17.10)
'Closing one's eyes to disaster [...] which doesn't suit you in Germany [...]' I agree, the question is what this 'disaster' exactly is, or different: are Muslims potential perpetrators or potential victims? Well, they definitely are a religious minority living in Germany... '[...] UK (subway in London) and consider whether Germany is immune.' London and Madrid were awful crimes and Germany is not immune. That's how it is - life's deadly. Total security is not possible, but total observation in a police state is. 'A rightwing party has already arisen in defence of your homeland [...]' Although, as a German, I am completely immune of all kinds of humour and irony, I guess this was meant ironically.

There are those who believe that the attack in Germany in 1986 was conducted by Israeli intelligence as a means to get the US to attack Libya. Similar to the Israeli organized terror attacks against targets in Cairo during the 1950's.
14. To: No. 11
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.17.10)
The Munich massacre of eleven Israeli athletes (z.l.) occurred before you were born, so you didn't think of them. Makes me really want to know -- does the word "Holocaust" mean anything to you? It, too, happened before you were born.
15. Fluffi thank you for your additional comments @#11
Israela ,   Jerusalem   (11.17.10)
There is a very important old saying which is relevant here: "A person who does not study his/her nation's history is like an old man who can not find his spectacles" I think that you would agree that it is a very sorry sight indeed! I am glad to see that your youthfulness allows you to have the humility to admit error and shows an eagerness to learn! Please do learn your history well, you will find that it will serve you in saving you and your country from future errors. All the best to you, from Jerusalem, Israela p.s. hope that didn't sound preachy it wasn't meant that way...English isn't my native language and sometimes I don't express myself well. ;-) Best wishes to you.
16. #14 please be a bit more flexible Fluffi...
Israela ,   Jerusalem   (11.17.10)
she admitted error and corrected herself that means she's trying and it isn't far to blast her for trying! Have a nice evening.
17. #13 I wish Israel were as strong....
Israela ,   Jerusalem   (11.17.10)
as her enemies believe her to be! We are a strong and mighty nation thank G-d but you really went over the top with your comments. Thank you for sharing your point of view
18. #15, Israela
Fluffi ,   Germany   (11.17.10)
