How can we remain "loving and bonded" when one side considers itself superior and more entitled? On the one hand we see the yeshiva students requiring subsidies for themselves. On the other hand we see the University students requiring **equal** rights... So where is your "fair and just struggl"?

As an American, when it comes to enforcing the law (againt illegal protests, or violent protests), all Israel must be color blind. Letting Jews protest, invites Arab protests and vice versa. The police are not political..they enforce the lawsw of the land. Dont like the laws, change them through the legal process. While Im against stipends im also against these kinds of protests. The court was right..either give both groups financing or neither. Yeshiva boys dont have special priviledges to simply study Judaims. I went 2hrs to Hebrew school after regular school hours. On Saturdays was shul and high holy days. I belonged to a Jewish youth group. What was wrong. No one paid me. I also worked part time. For years, law and order have been disrepected in Israel ffrom many sources. Now the country is paying for it. Okay, loan them money, but require it be paid back, or lien their property and any wages. There is no free lunch, even in Israel. After all, who is paying for it?

And incase it slipt your memo0ry the state has been funding these religious parasites for ages to. They do not accept the rules of the game - equal work, equal pay and equal duties. They said, 'No, we have a special status in which we do not work and we do not pay taxes and we do not defend the country; you defend it for us. Wel lsorry but we are no longer prepared to fund their lifestyle anymore.

Life is a series of negotiations. If originally had this, however now it's not really working out, then can renegotiate. Things are not necessarily carved in stone forever. One thing however is not to have too much change all at once if possible, cause it takes time to adapt to change.
