1. Sh-ass will agree to anything as long as the price is right
Avi ,   Israel   (11.18.10)
guess they need the money to pay for the lawyers of the Sh-ass MKs serving jail time, a costly bussiness i should imagine.
2. WHAO, A VICTORY FOR ABBAS !
SINGER ,   SINGAPORE   (11.18.10)
3. illegal settlement construction freeze has my approval &
HaShem ,   God of Israel   (11.18.10)
blessings.
4. Barak is the PM?
Ricardo Macher ,   Karnei Shomron IL   (11.18.10)
Who elected Barak for Prime Minister? He drove his party down with polls showing that he continues going down! But, due to Bibi's fear, Barak is actually ruling the country!!! Likud must make Bibi decide if he remains faithful to Likud's ideology or decided to move to Labor!
5. Europe was p***ed off at the converts of E.E
Peter   (11.18.10)
Of now a days Israelis should be happy of what Palestinians let them stay, when no one wants, now and then or then and now
6. If you had any doubts about our political system ....
Terry ,   Eilat - Israel   (11.18.10)
Now you can have no doubts whatsoever. Just how dysfunctional does a system have to be before people get fed up & demand change? This is ''business as usual'' for our crap politicians. The vast majority of the electorate do not support approving this lousy deal. But, who cares about the elctorate? Certainly not our politicians. No, they'll make backroom deals based on narrow short-term interests & to hell with the national interest. And, this is really a lousy deal. How can anyone trust the Obama administration? Even the majority of Americans no longer trust Obama. Of course, we have little reason to trust our politicians either. By the way, who the hell elected Ehud Barak PM? Why do we even bother to hold elections?
7. @2 how is building in Jeruasalem..
(11.18.10)
a victory for abbas?
8. @3 jealous, allah?

9. PainKillers
JayBee ,   UK   (11.18.10)
Another freeze is like taking painkillers rather than focusing on finding the cure. Obama is a peace-whore that would sell his mother should violence be on hold until he finishes his mandate. Israel, will be - once again - paying the price with more violence after Obama is out and palestinians start asking for more. Same old pattern, can't believe how so many people still don't get it by now.
10. Why are Netanyahu / Barak courting Shas?
Steve   (11.18.10)
Why are they courting Shas if as "sources close to Yishai" are right, "Shas remains opposed to another settlement construction freeze?" Shas is unalterably opposed to another punitive building freeze? There is something fundamentally wrong here. Or perhaps Yishai (Shas) is playing games? Attila Somfalvi (YNet) wrote: "Israel is awaiting a crucial document from the US meant to persuade government hard-liners to renew a ban on settlement construction...." These so-called "hardliners" like Mr. Netanyahu are mighty easy to persuade.
11. Confused
Rachel ,   US   (11.18.10)
The US is stating there is to be no building in Jerusalem. So is Shas gonna freeze building in Jerusalem or not? Who cares what Ehud Barak approves after the freeze, are they going to support a Jerusalem freeze?
12. Shas is a Political Prostitute
Israelit ,   Israel   (11.18.10)
Give them money, they'll sell the Western Wall and throw their mothers in for good measure.
13. If barak wants something, then it is bad
jason white ,   afula,israel   (11.18.10)
for Israel! bibi is not man enough to stand up to barak or b.o. or hitlery clinton. He is a scared man and should be removed from office as soon as possible. We need a government that will destroy the sh-ass party and jail all leaders from ayatollah yusuf on down. They will sell out Israel for money and have no shame. There is little difference between the aims of sh-ass and balad. All sh-ass institutes should be closed by the next government and they should be banned from politics.
