ourselves. We, as Israelis, are under continuous attack from rockets, terrorists, the international and local press, most of the world - and now ourselves as well. We should SUPPORT our soldiers and be proud of how they serve. They are asked to protect us - and then those very soldiers are condemned as they try to make sure that some (not-so-little) boy isn't carrying enough explosives to make his mother proud that he killed dozens of Israelis. What is wrong with us?? We have the right to stop such actions and to do so we have to search personal belongings. If they would stop terrorist and rocket attacks - and if they would want pEAce instead of pIEce - maybe this boy wouldn't have been searched. The only ones "marked for life" are OUR soldiers of the IDF. This verdice is absolutely DISGUSTING and DISGRACEFUL.

There is a huge human rights gap between Israel and the Palestinians, who spit on international human rights laws. The Palestinians are known as the inventors of airplane hijackings and the perfectors of bus bombings. But the Palestinian propaganda machine has carefully hidden an ugly fact from the world press: the Palestinians do not prosecute their own who attack Jewish civilians. It is a well known fact around the world that Palestinians for many decades regularly attacked Israeli civilians. It was front page news anytime Palestinians committed mass murder by blowing up a bus or restaurant, or opening machine gun fire on crowds of Israeli civilians. Yet there is no record anywhere in the press of the Palestinians arresting the organizers or the perpetrators, or ever holding a trial and convicting any Palestinian who attacked Israeli civilians. Is it because the Palestinian standards for human rights are so low and their racist attitude towards Israelis is so high? Could be. Is it because Palestinian government policy was to attack civilians and thus they could not prosecute their own civilians for carrying out war crimes the government condoned? Of course yes. Just keep this in perspective, folks, and realize that the Arab world, which the Palestinians belong to, believes that human rights obligations do not apply to them. That's why the Palestinians make hero posters out of suicide bombers, instead of sending their handlers to jail.

This pathetic decision is a permanent stain on Israel's "justice system". Compared to UK and US soldiers' behavior in Iraq and Afghanistan, it is clear that the IDF is by far the most moral army in the world. These heroic soldiers took the only course open to them. If they were supposed to do something else, DM Barak and AG Mazuz should have given the correct orders ahead of time. If someone should be tried it is Barak and Mazuz. In the future, the IDF should deploy a special bomb clearing unit made up of family members of the judges and the prosecutors.

Children are being used as human shields and perpetrators of terror acts by Palestinians and this fact the lady judge must be aware of. I think it's her that should have been charged, not these soldiers.

The comments are sickening, I agree.However, to many on this site Palestinians are not seen as human, they are seen as subhuman or animals, as they are often referred to. That is why many feel no compassion for this child-- they are brainwashed as people were in the 1930s.
