1. They make me want to buy an apt in Bnai Brak so I can rent
Israeli   (11.21.10)
it to foreigners. This is disgusting. How does this effect their lives? Ultra-orthodox don't live all around the world in mixed neighborhoods?
2. In other words...
M. Hartley ,   Atlanta, US   (11.21.10)
it's ok to take advantage of the fact that these infiltrators probably have to work for cheap wages, but where and how are they supposed to live? Maybe somebody could open a few camps just for them......They're probably not familiar with some aspects of "Never Again" or how that started. What hypocrisy! Why not solve the problem by making it illegal to employ these people?
3. The hara-dim are afraid the africans will
jason white ,   afula,israel   (11.21.10)
take their jobs. I guess it is "blacks" against blacks. All illegal aliens should be deported now.
4. This Doesnt Make Sense
Sarah ,   Los Angeles   (11.21.10)
Rabbi Menashe Zelicha said ""Our war is against those who rent apartments to them but not those who employ them, because we don't want to harm their livelihood." " -------- If you employ them, how do you not expect them to live there then? People live by where they are employed especially if they are poor immigrants and must walk to their place of employment. So it seems you are hoping that by denying them housing, they will have to either live in the street by where they work, or they will lose their jobs anyway because it's very difficult to hold a job while homeless so they will then move away from your neighborhood anyway? Is that the plan?
5. Why have laws on aliyah if you can just walk across the
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (11.22.10)
border. Either Israel is a country of laws or not. Either you deport the illegal aliens or you let Jews go hungry for lack of a job that pays a living.
6. it does make sense #4
Liora ,   USA/Israel   (11.22.10)
where in Los Angeles do you live? As someone who grew up in America - Jews spend an incredible amount of money living in beautiful upscale predominantly Jewish areas and spend enormous amounts of money sending their children to private Jewish school......and why? So they can live among their 'own kind' and associate with other upper class Jews and have their children become friends with and in the future date and get married to other Jewish upper class professionals. So why should anybody in Israel want anything different?
7. invasion
colin   (11.22.10)
FANTASTIC bLACKS TAKING OVER THE BLACKS nOW THE PARASITES (hARIDIM )sEE AND FEEL THE WAY THEY THE (HARIDIM )TRY TO TAKE AREAS FOR THEMSELVES. The government must send more of these "infiltraters to Bnie Brak The haridim are short of cheap labour
8. Arizona Syndrome

9. Bnai Brak is expensive, where is the $ coming from?
Larry ,   Los Angeles   (11.22.10)
Bnai Brak costs much money for rent, South Tel Aviv is much cheaper. Why would a poor migrant worker want to settle in Bnai Brak? Even the Ethiopians prefer South TA, so why the 'great influx' to BB? Something is missing from this article....
10. where are the liberals now?
Yoni ,   Tel Aviv   (11.22.10)
why hvent they invited the sudanese into their homes and neighborhood? how many of the sudanese live in northern Tel Aviv? How long would they last there before they were thrown out by the two faced liberal frauds fronting their hatred with tolerance?
11. Refuge Cities
Tikun Olam   (11.22.10)
its time to build refuge cities supported by the richer democratic countries in yisroel with the same standards of living as the settler cities to give israels critics a blast . Jimmy Carter can fund raise . All should have the opportunity for good jobs health care and education. Realism demands a limit but it must be generous.Nokeam Daam Yisroel.
12. How quickly we forget...
שרה'לה ,   תל אביב   (11.22.10)
"The Sudanese and the infiltrators escape the areas where they are killed, but living with us just doesn't fit, and we don't have to take care of them," Rabbi Menashe Zelicha said. Is he completely out of touch with life? Does he not remember that the same thing happened to the Jews in the Holocaust? That we were being slaughtered in the areas we were living...and many were hidden by righteous gentiles throughout Europe. And when it was over...the ones who could escape came HERE. It's a sick sick tragedy that we are forgetting to love our neighbors as ourselves. To help those in need. To be a light unto the nations. Rabbi Menashe Zelicha should be ashamed.
13. # 9
Birdi ,   Israel   (11.23.10)
There are parts of Bnei Brack where you can find cheap rentals.

Sophie ,   Tel-Aviv   (11.29.10)
This is pure segregation acts, here. Nothing else. People need to realize that there is no such a thing as "one culture", in a fair modern and world. Grow up. These above acts are completely racist, uncompassionate and apartheidist. Did Israelis forget what the word 'genocide' means? Well I have news for you: 89% of the Africans in Israel today have lived through genocides as well.... Simply sad to see that Israel is going into more chaos and injustices. Shame.
